The new Valiant stuff is pretty good too. Try Archer and Armstrong. I think you'll get a kick out of it.
I was actually wondering about Valiant last time I went into the comic shop. I flipped through an Archer and Armstrong and a Shadowman. Both looked pretty decent but I've been mislead like that before so didn't end up buying either
