Sure republicans helped pass civil rights but it took a democratic President with a democratic majority to actually pass it. Maybe you're not aware but republicans were the minority party at the time and had very few seats in the South before those laws were passed. It's just not true when Whittle states that republicans passed civil rights.

at all about manipulating blacks, exploiting them for votes, in truth keeping them enslaved with unwarranted fear and welfare dependency to keep them voting Democrat.
Republicans are about true equality, true integration.
While Democrats exploit blacks and other minorities by splintering the nation along race and class lines for the DNC's (not the people or the nation's) political gain.
