I'm digging this 1995 web layout.

I thought it was just my computer. I was ready to leave the boards forever and take all my dumb alts with me. Good thing I saw this thread.

Clearly, this is the end times and the RKMBs is on life support.

Maybe we should attempt a poster pheonix.....or something.

Thanks to the quote function not working properly, Lothar has finally been able to declare to Rob his availability and desire for man sex.

Actually, of all the times the boards have been down in the last 15 years or so, this is the first time they've remained this functional.

Sure the pages are all mixed up. But at least we can still read the forums and post.

I figure Rob is busy, and he'll fix it in a few days when he has the time.
I, for one, appreciate all Rob does to keep this forum up so we can all bitch at each other. And call him gay!

When I first opened this thread, I thought Doc was talking about Whomod for some reason.

Turned out it was just his signature.

Maybe this is all a ploy by Rob. With the exception of the threads where Wondy talks to himself, this is the most activity we've seen here in a while.

So, I emailed Rob about how the RKMBs asploded.

His response:

From what I understand UBB software isn't cheap and occasionally needs to be updated. Given how few of us still post here (I'm thinking no more than a half dozen people on a regular basis), it is entirely possible that Rob isn't going to save it this time.

It's weird. Watching the white space take over the board, with a very possible ending, it really looks like this might actually be the Crisis on Infinite Message Board for real....

I disagree.

Even if everyone had completely stopped posting here (and they haven't) there's 15 years of great topics that are fun to re-read. I think these boards are as much a part of Rob's life as they are of ours.

And in between the acrimony and pettiness on these boards, there have been (and still are) a lot of good times and laughs.
For most of the last 15 years or so, I've enjoyed that we're a fairly small group. And while it has been smaller in recent months (down from 20 or 40, to recently about 10 regulars) if we could just get another 10 or 20 posters, it would be about as thriving and active as ever again.

Wow! In the 2 minutes or so I was drafting my last post, the RKMB's became their former selves again!
