On the program Wall Street Journal Report today, Daniel Henninger said McDonalds (after the implementation of raised minimum wage laws) has seen a 30% decline in revenue, and a 6% decline in profits in the last quarter. And that McDonalds, along with other lower-wage industries with a small profit margin, will simply go more toward automation.

As Henninger phrases it, "The only ones who will see a raise from an increased minimum wage are automated robots."
