Hurm.....This is depressing.
I really didn't know Harley very well....Like, at all. But this is an untimely death and she was a kind enough person that it bothers me to know she's gone....or rather, know that one of us is gone.
...I'm not gonna lie. It felt very weird to type that last sentence.
Does Uschi already know about this? I recall they were friends. I think she heard on Facebook. I had a falling out with Uschi. About two years ago we had an argument, she blocked me on Facebook and I haven't heard from her since. I really miss her. Well, that's what happens when your friend starts dating a Yoko...

I've been gone the past week with family for Christmas. This is the latest that we know about charity donations that her family is requesting. The Fisher's are establishing a memorial fund: With the outpouring of love for Kahlia, the family and I have discussed honoring her memory with a scholarship or other gift at Stuyvesant High School. I've been trading messages with the school about the details, towards a plan to launch a formal campaign and online link to donate. In the meantime, supporters can send checks made out to the "Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association", with memo "Kahlia Fisher", and mail them to

How did Harley die ? It seems kind of odd that there is no obituary summary of her life, or explanation of how she died, even in the memorial link. I even googled, and didn't see any newspaper obituary notice of her death. She was only about 43 years old, and that's way too young to go, by natural causes. - Kahlia Fisher

harley and i had a really special friendship for a time. for several months, my entire time on these boards was spent PMing with her...hours each night. we spoke a few times on the phone and she had a way of brightening my day when things weren't going well. i haven't communicated with her at all since 2008 but, i am immeasurably sad to learn of her passing. the world has just become less for me than it was a moment ago...
