Well, after initial TV-driven concern, I'm optimistic at this point we'll survive relatively intact. I'm in an area expected to have maximum sustained wind of 40 to 60 MPH. If PJP is in the worst zone North of me that will have sustained hurricane-force winds, he'll probably see sustained winds of about 75MPH (with some gusts higher), and only if the eye touches land and doesn't stay offshore would he potentially face the maximum 140+ MPH winds, if he is either in or close to the eye wall of the storm.

Wow! Hey there PJ! I passed through Melbourne in 2014 & got a picture of the bridge at US-192 and US1. I didn't stick around long but it looked pretty. I took a way off route back home to Palm Beach County from Disney World because the Turnpike was getting monotonous every year or so.
