The fourth shooting incident in less than 2 weeks:

ICE OFFICES AND WORKERS HIT BY A WAVE OF VIOLENCE AND THREATS, "WE KNOW WHERE ALL YOUR CHILDREN LIVE"

 Quote:
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) workers are facing a rapidly escalating series of threats, including protesters menacing their children and shots being fired at their offices, amid a rising tide of anti-ICE rhetoric from the left fueled by congressional Democrats, media voices and presidential hopefuls.

Footage published Tuesday by Breitbart News shows protesters in Florida from groups such as Never Again Action and Black Lives Matter Alliance of Broward County threatening workers and former employees of the GEO Group, a private contractor used by ICE.

One protester threatened the family of GEO Group’s former general counsel, John Bulfin.

“We know where all your children live throughout the country … John Bulfin you have kids in [bleeped out], you have kids in [bleeped out],” the protester yelled. “We know everything about you and you won’t just be seeing us here.”

We know where you sleep at night,” another protester shouted. “We know what kind of dog food you buy your dogs.”

“We’re not actually joking,” the protester said before shouting the location of where Bulfin lives. “John Bulfin you go to [bleeped out], you go to church on [bleeped out], you live on [bleeped out] the road. We are not joking.”

Another can be heard yelling: “When immigrant bodies are under attack, what do we do?”

"Fight back,” other protesters responded.

Breitbart reports that the footage was taken a day before shots were fired early Tuesday at an ICE office and GEO Group office in San Antonio, Texas, in what the FBI has called a “targeted attack.”

The shooting occurred around 3 a.m. at an ICE building where two floors house administrative and executive offices, according to the San Antonio Express-News. The outlet reported another shooting occurred at a separate facility where an ICE contractor is located.

"All of the shots that we have found are on the floors where ICE had offices," FBI Special Agent in Charge Chris Combs said. "This is no question a very targeted attack. It's not a secret facility, you can go online, it's [the address is] out there. So they did some research, they knew what floors ICE was on, they knew what buildings they were and they hit those."

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services acting Director Ken Cuccinelli tweeted out pictures of the bullet holes.

The incidents are the latest escalation in anti-ICE sentiment that has shifted from calls to abolish the agency and claims that it is “caging children” to threats and violence within the space of a year.

Last month, a man was killed by Washington state authorities when he threw incendiary devices at both an immigration center and nearby propane tanks. In Colorado, protesters demonstrating outside an ICE facility replaced the American flag with the Mexican flag. Also last month, protesters were arrested after trying to storm an ICE building in Washington, D.C.

Department of Homeland Security Acting Secretary Kevin McAleenan said on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday that people need to tone down “dangerous” rhetoric that demonizes ICE officials.

“The environment where we're demonizing our law enforcement for doing their jobs and enforcing the law on the books is concerning,” he said. “It can be dangerous and it can result in people taking action that are not supported by facts that are not in response to anything inappropriate that the men and women of ICE are doing and we've got to tone that down."

In an op-ed for Fox News Wednesday, former ICE Director Thomas Homan said that he had to deal with death threats when he was in charge of the agency and had to receive round-the-clock armed protection for weeks.

He also noted increasingly heated rhetoric from elected Democrats and presidential hopefuls about the work ICE does.

“In addition to the threats of violence, we see elected officials at the local, state and national level calling the Border Patrol, ICE and anyone that enforces our immigration law Nazis, racists, and obscene names,” he wrote.

He also asked where the outrage was from Democrats, who recently have partly blamed President Trump for creating anti-immigrant sentiment that encouraged the mass shooting in El Paso, Texas.

"Here’s the bottom line: Hate is hate, terrorism is terrorism, and murder is murder. Politicians who condemn attacks on themselves and institutions and policies they support have an obligation to condemn such attacks on their opponents just as vigorously."

And:

TOM HOMAN: ICE, BORDER PATROL ARE TARGETS FOR LEFT-WING EXTREMISTS: WHERE'S THE OUTRAGE FROM DEMS?

Yeah, those dirty right-wing racists Trump incited with his hate rhetoric... OH WAIT!

The shooting and standoff in Philadelphia last night is the 5th shooting spree in less than 2 weeks. Six police officers shot and hospitalized, authorities say it was "a miracle" that none of the police ambushed were killed.
By a black (not white supremacist) drug dealer with a long list of prior offenses, including 6 gun assaults. He should never have been on the street to post this threat.
From what was reported he was firing a weapon with such velocity it would penetrate most bullet-proof vests, and with velocity that could penetrate walls and kill residents in neighboring homes and buildings. Many of whom were evacuated.

Trump: Philly shooter ‘should never have been allowed to be on the streets’

 Quote:
President Trump said Thursday that the suspect in the shooting of six police officers during a Philadelphia standoff should "never have been allowed to be on the streets."

The suspect, identified as Maurice Hill, 36, has a long record of gun-related convictions and of attempting to evade arrest, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. He is now in custody.

The suspect allegedly shot six officers during a standoff that began after two Narcotics Strike Force officers showed up at a multifamily home to serve a warrant, according to Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross, who said things “went awry almost immediately” when the suspect allegedly started firing.

The two officers were barricaded in separate rooms with several hostages before being evacuated five hours later. The incident began Wednesday at around 4:30 p.m. and the suspect was finally apprehended early Thursday morning. The suspect allegedly fired rounds out a window and up through the ceiling. He was armed with several handguns and an AR-15 rifle, officials told Fox News.

All six of the officers struck by bullets survived. Ross said it was “nothing short of a miracle that we don't have multiple officers killed today.”

After two previous mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio, Trump called for Congress to take action, particularly suggesting stronger background checks and red flag laws that could potentially keep dangerous individuals from obtaining firearms. Congress is currently on a summer recess, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., resisted calls to bring senators back early. But he said that when they return, these measures may be on the agenda.

One America News (OANN) has had several stories in the last 2 weeks about the fact that more murders are commited in the U.S. with knives, not guns.

Likewise, there are more murders committed with hammers than guns.

Tucker Carlson in his opening editorial last night said that there are more aborted children who survive and are then killed post-birth to finish the job than there are killed in mass shootings. And that is with insufficient statistics from not even all states, and an effort is being made to gather more accurate statistics from all 50 states. But even the most limited statistics exceed mass shooting deaths.

As I've said elsewhere, in an average year, there are 2 to 3 times more auto deaths than gun deaths.

Should we outlaw all these things?

My central point is, it's threatening that the Left KNOWS that none of the current gun proposals will do ANYTHING to actually stop gun crimes. They will only punish and restrict gun ownership by the very people who have stopped many shootings before they occurred, or stopped shooters from killing even more people.
None of what's been proposed would have stopped the Sandy Hook shooting, or the Pulse Night Club shooting, or the Las Vegas hotel shooting, or the Parkland shooting, or the Aurora Colorado movie theatre shooting.
All these people went through the proper background checks, and lawfully obtained these weapons with no red flags. Or in the Sandy Hook case used his mother's lawfully obtained weapons that she trained him to use.

I'm all for laws that would actually prevent shootings. But what we see are feel-good legislation by Democrats to appease voters and under cover advance their anti-gun agenda, that won't stop shootings, and will only harm lawful gun owners.

As I aid before 78% of gun crimes are committed with weapons that were not obtained legally. Weapons stolen in burglaries, traded for drugs, borrowed without permission from friends or family. Of the guns obtained legally and used in crimes, there are no red flags that any laws would have prevented.
As OANN reported, 50% of the shooters were under psychiatric care, and EVEN THEIR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS didn't see them in advance as a potential threat.

What has worked in the last week is tips to police that have prevented three more shootings.

PHILADELPHIA POLICE SHOOTING SUSPECT WORKED AS FEDERAL INFORMANT, REPORT SAYS

 Quote:
The Philadelphia man accused of shooting six police officers during a lengthy, chaotic standoff last week has spent time as a federal informant, providing information to the government “about a shooter that led to an arrest,” a report says, quoting one of his former attorneys.

Maurice Hill, who faces multiple counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault and other charges related to the Aug. 14 incident, is known to have a lengthy criminal record.

But during sentencing in one 2008 case – in which he entered a guilty plea for being a felon in possession of a firearm -- it was revealed he'd been a federal informant, according to documents obtained by the news website The Appeal.

“He has testified before the Grand Jury on two occasions, was willing to testify at trial, and provided information about a shooter that led to an arrest,” Hill’s attorney Wayne Maynard reportedly wrote in a sentencing memorandum filed with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. “He has cooperated with the Government and provided information that has and will likely continue to imperil his safety and that of his family."

Hill was taken into custody last week again after allegedly shooting at six police officers with an AR-15 rifle while the cops were trying to serve a drug warrant.

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said that, as part of the negotiations to try to get Hill to end the standoff and surrender, he agreed to a "phony baloney" request to lower Hill's likely time behind bars from 25 years to 20 years.

“We need to be clear here: This was bulls--- from the beginning,” Krasner told The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Krasner said Hill requested the agreement in writing, but, though the DA claimed to have started the paperwork, he said he never finished it. Krasner also said the suspect's lawyer was in on the mock agreement.

A sack of human shit who never should have been on the streets again, who got plea deals that allowed him to almost kill 6 cops.
And who knows how many private citizens he victimized, between his plea deal and this shooting spree.

Again the Left raises gun control and stricter background checks. But again in response: 78% of gun crimes are with guns not purchased legally.

The Left's intent is always to trick the public into increasingly more gun restrictions, that won't actually stop criminals, and just limit and harass lawful gun owners. On the path toward complete banning of guns.
Except, of course, the guns that protect Democrat/Left political leaders! For Dems, those rights need to be protected.

Do as I say, not as I do.
