It wasn't a shocker because the intimidation of the court and jury were unrelenting. Even if they had been sequestered, the jury could still see the angry mobs and graffiti all around the court house. They did not vote principle, they voted conviction to save their own lives. As I said, they were all but individually doxed before the verdict was read. They knew these mobs would be right outside their homes as soon as they gave a not guilty verdict. And perhaps violently INSIDE their homes, attacking them and their families, and getting them fired from their jobs because it would be unsafe for their co-workers to remain there.

This is the Bolshevik way, not the American/Constitutional way.

I think it’s pretty hard to refute the evidence WB that was presented. Cops have a tough job and need some leeway imho but this was an execution carried out in front of crowd that video taped it.

AGAIN: George Floyd was a career criminal who had a long history of drug abuse, and committing violent crimes to support his habit. He hurt a lot of people. A few years prior, Floyd did 7 years in jail for a violent home invasion. In another incident, he held a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach and demanded money. I wish these and other VICTIMS of Floyd were at his great statesman-like funeral to give their own two cent about just what a great person George Floyd was.

AGAIN: George Floyd was high as a kite with more than enough Fentanyl in his blood stream from that alone. *AND* he further had a high level of Mathaanphetamines in his blood. More than enough to kill him, even if officer Derek Chauvin had never showed up.
*AND* Floyd had a heart condition.
*AND* Floyd had just passed a 20 dollar bill to a BLACK store owner, who called the police and reported Floyd, and said Floyd was glassy eyed and very high on something.
*AND* Floyd was in a car with 3 other guys who were also arrested, *WITHOUT INCIDENT*, one of them the drug dealer who sold Floyd the fatal dose he ingested.

So again: Derek Chauvin did not have perfect conduct with how he handled the situation, but it appears to me Floyd would have died regardless of anything Chauvin did, so I think murder or manslaughter are excessive regarding Floyd's death, who the autopsy (and a second independent autopsy!) show Floyd essentially did to himself.
Chauvin's crime was delaying paramedic treatment to a man who was overdosing, but if paramedics were called immediately, it's still a snowball's chance in hell Floyd would have survived. It *APPEARS* Chauvin was on a power trip, but we haven's see all the body-cam video of the four officers in the Floyd arrest. We've only seen the 9-minute bystander video that shows events in a narrow context.

It's a bit confusing, because there was a paramedic on the scene for that 9 minutes, but she was an assistant paramedic, a bystander walking by, not a paramedic called to the scene with full equipment and access to Floyd, and was essentially being a backseat driver taunting the officers, a clearly defiant and insolent social justice warrior, as her testimony on the stand made clear, even in her taunts to the judge!

I would say Chauvin was guilty of depraved indifference, and possibly excessive force, and whatever charge would encapsulate being arrogant and stubborn and being on a power trip. Chauvin had several reprimands for excessive force, but he also had several commendations. There are way too many things that show Floyd was already dying of an overdose and a heart condition to say Chauvin "murdered" Floyd. Floyd was dying regardless of anything Chauvin did that day.

These cases involving police shooting black suspects all blend together, largely because the liberal media and Democrats collaboratively shave the facts to weave them into a continuous lying narrative of a white racist American society, and a police "war on blacks", both of which narratives are absolutely false.

Relative to the millions of arrests by police every year, the proportion of blacks who are killed during arrest are very small. George Floyd, Lashawn Brooks, Daunte Wright, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, on and on, there is a consistent pattern of blacks committing crimes, resisting arrest, and even attacking the officers who try to arrest them. That is not "racism", that is law enforcement. And with the exception of George Floyd, who ingested more than a fatal dose of Fentanyl and combined it with Methamphetamines and a heart condition, all of these blacks killed would still be alive if they had simply not resisted arrest and fought with the police. In George Floyd's case, three others in the car with him, including his drug dealer, were arrested without incident. NONE of these suspects were innocent, none of them cooperated with police

The latest one is this 16 year old black girl Ma'Khia Bryant, who was shot a second away from stabbing another black girl to death (on video) in Columbus Ohio.

NBC News Columbus police shooting of teenager Ma’Khia Bryant

Neighbor: officer who shot Ma'Khia Bryant 'did what he thought was best' - Harris Faulkner, Fox News

NBC Nightly News, selectively edited version to sell narrative of police racism toward blacks:

As many times as all the networks have played this video probably 100 times a day each, it amazes me how they never explain some basic things, like:

1) What motivated this clash before the police showed up? The violence on video happened as the police arrived, and the whole clan looks pretty violent.

2) in the foreground as the officer walks up, another girl (in white shorts and a navy sweater) is body slammed to the ground right in front of the officer, and then the black male who threw her further punted her across the grass. Was the girl thrown on the grass with Ma'Khia Bryant, or fighting against Bryant up till the police arrived ? All these networks could talk to the others visible on camera or their friends and quickly learn and report those facts of what happened and who the players are. But almost a week later, they have not. I've only seen the one in pink say Ma'Khia Bryant "was going to stab me". Either the police or the witnesses could explain who all these other bodies flying around were, and why they were doing it. It's weird that almost a week later, with all the endless coverage, they have not, ANY of the national or local networks.

3) How could ANYONE watch the Fox News version and the CNN, NBC and MSNBC versions, and not realize that the liberal networks are engaging in selective omission, manipulating the facts to sell a narrative, and flat-out lying to the public? The manipulation of facts is so obvious.

Jesse Waters, opening commentary April 24, 2021

Commentary about media's distortion of the facts to manipulate public perception. Specifically as related to Daunte Wright, Ma'Khia Bryant, and the false narrative of a racist police targeting of blacks.

Note the statistics. When Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson Missouri, there were about 8 million arrests annually, about 600 total annual shootings by police, of which only 150 were black.

As Watters cites, it's currently about 10 million arrests nationally per year, and only about 18 black shootings annually, and still abut 24 white shootings per year, virtually all the black shootings caught on police body cameras broadcast on national television.
18 !
As small as 150 was in 2014, I'd say the total cases are quantifiably much lower now. If ,y'know, anyone cared about the truth.

How Not to get your ass kicked by the Police -Chris Rock

Still funny, still relevant.

I'm hard pressed to think of a publicized police shooting in the last 10 years where this kind of common sense and, y'know, NOT being high on drugs, NOT having prior convictions, NOT violating your parole, NOT resisting arrest, NOT physically attacking/threatening the officers or other people, would likely have resulted in them not being killed.

I already de-constructed this in the other topic you posted this to.

1) Many of the people who were rioting, attacking police, smashing windows and other violence, were with John Earle Sullivan and his BLM/Antifa group, who OPENLY SAID ON VIDEO they were there PRETENDING to be Trump supporters, that their purpose was to frame Trump supporters for their own violence, and trick actual supporters to follow them into violence.

2) Likewise the Boogaloos are not "right wing", they are in truth left wing and anarchists at best, and have done joint protests with BLM, clearly affiliated with BLM. And their leader was on Facebook for several hours on Jan 6th in numerous posts expressing his hatred for Trump. Clearly any violence committed by the Boogaloos was not in support of Trump.

3) Even the Oath Keepers, who are ostensibly conservative and right-wing, are a separate and distinct group from the Trump supporters, with a history that precedes Trump ever being a candidate.

4) All these groups posted on social media long before the Jan 6th rally, and rather than talking about joining it as supporters of Trump, talked instead about using it as cover for their own agendas. And as their communications WELL BEFORE Jan 6th reflect, as recorded by NYPD, DHS, FBI, and Capitol police, these groups were not motivated by anything Trump said. They made their plans WELL BEFORE Trump ever said a word on Jan 6th.

5) Further, Trump in his 12 noon -1:11 PM speech urged his supports to "PEACEFULLY and patriotically" voice their support for House and Senate Republicans opposing the electoral vote. Trump further made Twitter posts throughout the afternoon urging his supporters to keep their protests peaceful. And finally, when rioting occurred in the Capitol, urged his supporters to go home.

6) You're a fucking liar, M E M. You keep repeating a lying narrative, THAT IS KNOWN to be a lie. All your talking points about "Trump supporters killing cops" and other people, armed "INSURRECTION" (FBI assistant director of counter-terrorism: NO WEAPONS were seized in or around the Capitol that day), or that officer Sicknick was either bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher, or sprayed with a chemical or pepper spray or bear spray, every last bit of that was a lie spread by the liberal media. And according to Sicknick's own brother, the media knew that the first day, but still deliberately spread the lie that Trump supporters killed Sicknick.
The "FIVE PEOPLE KILLED BY WHITE SUPREMACIST TRUMP SUPPORTERS" narrative, is in truth 3 strokes or heart attacks, 1 drug overdose, and an unarmed Ashli Babbitt murdered by a Capitol police officer.

7) In the video, you can only see that someone is attacking the police officers. They are not named, their ideology is not known, and they could easily be BLM/Antifa PRETENDING to be Trump supporters. And the people who formed a circle around the officer to protect him from further beating are likely the TRUE Trump supporters. But since none of the people in the video are identified, we don't know who they are, or what their ideology or motivations are.

Respectfully, you're a blinders-on leftist zealot, who believes and accepts whatever lying talking points the Democrat party feeds you.

For God's sake M E M, you have 5 miles of burned storefronts in your city! WAKE UP!!
Minneapolis looks like Berlin in 1945. And your Democrat mayor, your maniac leftist city council, your incompetent Democrat governor, just sat on their hands and let it happen.
And like a blinders-on zealot immune to the facts, YOU STILL SUPPORT THEM !
And insanely, blame Trump for what THEY DID!!

The lunatics in the fraudulently elected Biden administration are kicking open the southern border to millions of illegal immigrants, crushing the fossil fuel industry and deliberately hyper-inflating the cost of gasoline and home energy, crushing our ability to remain energy-independent (while simultaneously making us dependent and at the mercy of a hostile China for wind and solar energy materials for our energy needs), enacting HUGE new taxes that will drive corporations, factories and jobs out of the United States, and desperately trying to open the Iran nuclear deal to give Iran nuclear weapons in record time.

On every front, if it's bad for America, Biden and the Democrats are FOR it.

"The Fall of Minneapolis" - documentary, 1 hour 42 minutes
https://www.thefallofminneapolis.com/

Produced by a former local Minneapolis TV reporter and news anchor, who was fired after the George Floyd riots, ONLY because her husband was a police officer in the city's police department.

The documentary shows documents and body-cam footage that was NOT permitted to be used in the trials of officer Derek Chauvin and the other 3 officers, that shows they were not guilty of what they were convicted for.
That the trial was made up of jurors, AND THE JUDGE, who were clearly pro Black Lives Matter (BLM) advocates.

The documentary shows that George Floyd had about triple the fatal level of Fentanyl in his bloodstream, along with methamphetamine, that the TWO autopsies done on George Floyd clearly show he died of an overdose and a pre-existing heart condition, NOT from asphyxiaiion by the arresting officers. Tha the officers did no delay medical care to a clearly overdosing George Floyd, hat emergency medial was called immediately by officers, and EMY was delayed arriving by no faul of the officers on the scene.

That Derek Chauvin was praised in the video by his training officer at the police academy as one of the two best officers he trained. Who was clearly shaken up and heartbroken by he unfairness that that Chauvin was convicted and imprisoned.

That Derek Chauvin immediately saw George Floyd was overdosing when he arrived, and called emergency medical to take care of Floyd in the first 30 seconds he arrived. But because of the dispather or EMT's error (NOT Chauvin's) the EMT's took over 30 minutes to arrive.
There is body-cam footage of the EMT and one of the officers talking in the ambulance, where the EMT explains this to the officer, and follows up on camera saying "Yeah, we fucked up."
The pro-BLM judge did NOT allow this exculpatory footage to be admitted as evidence in court, and Chauvin and the 3 other officers as a result were convicted of crimes they did not commit.

Over and over, there is evidence presented that superior Police Department officers lied about Chauvin and the 3 other officers, hid the fact that they actually followed their police training to the letter, but officers above them alleged they went rogue and didn't follow police procedure, to pander to the black/Leftist mob, and to save their own political hides.

This evidence should have gotten Derek Chauvin released from prison IMMEDIATELY, exposing that Chauvin is clearly not guilty of what he was convicted for.

And within a week of this documentary's release, there was an attempt in prison by another inmate to murder Chauvin.
https://www.foxnews.com/us/arizona-inmate-charged-attempted-murder-derek-chauvin-stabbing
https://nypost.com/2023/12/01/news/...-as-new-details-of-prison-attack-emerge/

By an FBI asset / informant no less.
Attempting to insure for political reasons, that Chauvin is never released, that his name would never be cleared.
Your 97% Democrat-donating FBI at work again. NOT AT ALL a political arm of the Democrat party that would imprison or murder people to serve the Democrat political agenda, NO SIR.

Sorry! Pause for a minute. Dave! You clearly think the Federal Bureau of Investigation is a political tool of the Democratic Party!

I do vaguely recall you or someone discussing how this in the context of the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails. And maybe Robert Mueller? Not sure.

Please don't post links. I won't follow them. Don't have the spare bandwidth in my day. But I guess I'd like to know... gosh where to start. Why would a law enforcement agency be politically aligned with the left?

Pimping my site, again.
