They don't look like actual Trump protesters, they look like Antifa, and again, brought their own riot shields and tear gas and poking weapons, in an organized way. They are clearly seasoned , as if from many previous BLM and Antifa clashes with police in many other cities, in a way that Trump protesters would not be.
There are no arrests or names identified of the ones in these specific clashes with police, nothing from their personal histories shown, no arrests on similar charges shown, no Facebook and Twitter or other social media posts shown to identify their ideology. And I've already demonstrated with linked articles that police were warned and on the alert for Antifa infiltrators, and at least two Antifa leaders have already been identified inside the Capitol during these events. ONE WAS INTERVIEWED BY CNN !
But no, Iggy denies Antifa had anything to do with the violence, despite they were PROVEN to be there.
Why don't you post the
video of a "Trump protestor" guy in black smashing windows, and a woman Trump supporter yells to other ACTUAL Trump supporters, "No, no Antifa, help help..." , and ACTUAL Trump supporters grabbed the guy and stopped him from smashing windows."
Or the many videos of
police opening gates at outside checkpoints, no opposition, just letting Trump protesters pour in?
Why don't you post the many videos of Trump demonstrators peacefully walking into the Capitol building, and the cops are just standing all around them, no violence, no attempt by police to stop the protesters, no yelling at police or assault on police, just walking by peacefully.

Out of "over 100,000 protesters" (estimated by attending reporter Jack Posobiec again, OAN news), you obsess over "35 or 40" violent persons (the number cited by a contract security specialist interviewed on OAN, working undercover in the crowds that day, working with Capitol police) an un-arrested unidentified 35 or 40 who are NOT proven to be Trump protesters. And yet you point to one isolated video of unidentified persons and try to say

At least initially, there were only about 50 arrested for being in the Capitol, and all but 5 were for "violating curfew" or "criminal trespass".

I think the number of arrest is up to around 80 now, and the ones PROVEN to be Trump supporters were pranksters stealing souvenirs and one stealing Pelosi's speaker podium (again: How could he possibly have carried that out of the Capitol, and gotten it past police? ) Trump supporters perhaps, but morons that 100% of other Trump supporters condemn and don't endorse. But you try to conflate them with the violent protesters who have NOT been arrested, and NOT been identified as Trump supporters.
There is wild speculation in the liberal media that "many more would have been killed" if not for... what? Police who were overwhelmed, and were videotaped running themselves? And wild media speculation that one guy carrying zip ties was part of a massive plan to take a lot of hostages, and as I answered with links in another comment, the guy was a bartender from Tennessee, who appeared in a photo with his mom, not a likely hostage team. NOT ONE hostage was actually taken.
And probably the one officer killed, a fire extinguisher thrown at him who died hours later at a hospital, probably the person who threw it never imagined it would kill him. The only actual deliberate killing was BY POLICE, shooting an unarmed female Trump protester climbing through a window. The other 3 who died were a heart attack, a stroke, and one 34 year old female who collapsed from undisclosed health problems and died receiving CPR, NONE of them from violence.
