Not that it's a problem of global proportions, but there are too goddamn many superheroes in comic books. Never mind that they've crowded out practically every comic-book character who <I>isn't</I> a superhero, with the singular exception of Archie; there are too many half-baked, half-assed superheroes in comic books devoted to superheroes. How many supermen, wonder women, masked mystery men, super-speedsters, shape-shifters does any comic-book company need?
