While not even in office, Trump has arguably campaigned harder than anyone else for a Republican mid-term election victory. The expectations are scaling down, but whatever gains Republicans make, it can certainly be attributed to Trump's efforts, without whose efforts, there would be a lot less Republican candidates elected.
