We live in a world where Putin clearly prefers a Trump presidency while Dick Cheney will be voting Harris. His boss W isn’t endorsing either candidate as well as Pence and Romney. The threat Trump poses is superseding what was once typical partisanship.
It is so strange, isn't it. The conservative wing of politics in the US has come a very long way from the neocons of the 2000s. I used to screech about GW Bush and war crimes, but he seems tame nowadays.
I guess ultra-isolationist instincts in US politics faded from the 1920s to 1945 in a shorter of equivalent period of time, so maybe I shouldn't be too surprised.
