When I first read Alan Moore's WATCHMEN in the late 1980's, I still hadn't seen this movie. Although I was a huge fan of the 1963-1965 series THE OUTER LIMITS, and definitely appreciated Moore's reference in the story to the episode "The Architects of Fear".
