WWE WrestleMania 41 PLE Results: 4-19-25Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Keller's real-time results)(1) GUNTHER vs. JEY USO – World Heavyweight Title matchSalvatore Ganacci of “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves” came out surrounded by dancers briefly. Then Jey Uso’s music played and he made his entrance. During Jey’s long entrance, they noted music producer Rick Rubin was in the front row. They showed Turki Al-Sheikh in the front row, the Chairman of Kingdom Saudi Arabia GEA. Cole noted Jey is 0-6 in world title matches in his career and 0-3 against Gunther. The bell rang 19 minutes into the hour. They locked up. Gunther pushed Jey into the corner and chopped him. Jey countered with a right roundhouse punch. Gunther bailed out to ringside. Gunther returned to the ring and took Jey down into a side headlock. Fans chanted “Uso!” Uso ducked Gunther and then bodyslammed him. He landed an enzuigiri, but Gunther chopped Jey off the top rope, sending him to the floor. Barrett said Gunther dominated Jey before and all that’s changed are a couple “fired up speeches” by Jey, but now Gunther is dominating Jey again. Jey speared Gunther seconds later for a two count. Jey countered a Gunther powerbomb and took Gunther down with a Samoan drop. Both were slow to get up. Jey climbed to the top rope, but Gunther threw him to the mat and then hit a dinosaur dropkick and a powerbomb for a two count at 8:00. Jey head scissored out of another powerbomb attempt and landed a top rope Uso Splash for a very near fall. Gunther went to ringside and grabbed his title belt, threatening to leave in frustration. He redirected the ref and bashed Jey in the head with a belt as Jey was diving at him. He then landed a top rope splash for a near fall. “How in the hell is there anything left in Jey Uso?” Gunther applied a sleeper next. At 13:00, they exchanges chops and big swings mid-ring. Gunther kicked Jey in the face, but Jey came back with a launched lariat. Barrett said Jey looked like a man possessed. Gunther put Jey in a sleeper, but Jey suplexed out of it quickly. Both were slow to get up. Gunther landed a dinosaur dropkick a minute later. He went for a powerbomb, but Jey countered and landed his own powerbomb. Jey landed another Uso Splash minutes later. He quickly went for a second splash and landed it. He then went for a third and landed it on Gunther’s back. “Does Jey Uso have a chance for the upset of the year?!” Cole asked. Jey then put Gunther in a sleeper. Gunther tapped. Jey celebrated. Jimmy joined him. Fans were yeeting. They roared with cheers as Jimmy hugged Jey. Cole said the twin brothers have had their problems and have battled each other and been at each other’s sides. He said Jimmy is there to present Jey with “the most coveted prize, the World Heavyweight Championship.” He said Rikishi can call his son World Heavyweight Champion. WINNER: Jey Uso 16:00 to capture the World Heavyweight Championship. (Very good match. Pretty much precisely what you’d expect from these two. Wisely, they didn’t go 20-plus minutes as they’re in the opening spot and going longer to create an “epic” length match wouldn’t have served any purpose in the larger scheme of the show.)(2) THE WAR RAIDERS (Erik & Ivar) vs. THE NEW DAY (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)New Day came out in Giant Gonzalez-style airbrushed body suits. Cole said Xavier is 0-6 and Kofi just 2-13 at WrestleMania. The War Raiders came out next. The bell rang 53 minutes into the hour. New Day dominated the early minutes. Ivar made a comeback at at 5:00, but Xavier yanked him off the top rope and took over again. Erik saved Ivar from a double-team spot by New Day. Kingston knocked Erik out of the ring with Trouble in Paradise. Ivar landed a Doomsday Moonsault (and barely cleared not landing on his head as his boots’ grip on the top rope didn’t seem great as he launched). Kingston landed an elbow to the back of Ivar to break up the cover. Kingston draped his arm over Ivar for a two count. The announcers commented on Ivar slipping on the top rope when he launched. (That could’ve been really bad.) Kofi knocked Ivar off the middle rope as he was going for a double-team move. Xavier double-stomped Ivar as Kingston held him prone over his knee and scored a three count. WINNERS: New Day in 9:00 to capture the World Tag Team Titles.

WWE WrestleMania 41 PLE Results: 4-19-25
(3) NAOMI vs. JADE CARGILL
Naomi charged at Jade Cargill to begin the match. Cargill dropped her immediately with a Spinebuster. She punched Naomi into the northwest corner, then tossed her across the ring. Naomi stumbled to the opposing corner. Jade wasted no time closing the gap, driving her shoulder into Naomi’s mid-section. The referee broke it up quickly. Naomi used the opportunity to slide to the outside. Cargill followed, tossing Naomi violently against the ringside barrier. Jade rolled back in the ring to break the count. Naomi leapt onto the apron and caught Cargill with a thumb to the eye. She pulled Jade through the ropes and gave her a Facebuster onto the floor.
“This is a top level superstar who is about to smash Jade Cargill,” Wade said of Naomi. She continued to slam Jade off the ring and ring steps. “I do this for fun!’ she told the crowd. Naomi returned her opponent to the ring and slammed her into the mat with her thighs for a cover and two count just before 3:30. The crowd seemed restless. Naomi kneed Jade in the face, then gave her a standing leg drop for a cover and another two count. McAfee noted that Naomi had been able to maintain total control since Cargill’s initial offense. Naomi cut out Jade’s leg at the back of the knee, then hit the ropes. Cargill sprang to life, delivering a tilt-a-whirl Backbreaker. Jade shook out her leg, then challenged Naomi to attack. He dropped her with a couple of quick clotheslines, then a splash in the corner.
After catching Cargill with a boot, Naomi hoisted herself to the middle rope and dove at her opponent. Cargill picked her out of the air, spun her vertically and slammed her. Jade followed up with a bicycle boot. Naomi hooked herself along the bottom rope, ensuring a break when Cargill tried to attack. Naomi went to the middle rope again, looking for another cross body. Jade caught her a second time and transitioned into a Fallaway Slam. Cargill stepped on Naomi en route to the middle rope. She took too long and Naomi recovered to meet her. She executed a wheelbarrow bulldog off the top rope, followed by a big split-legged Moonsault for a leg hook and near fall at 7:40.
Naomi caught Cargill with a Superkick to follow up. She covered for another two count, then immediately transitioned into a Rings of Saturn submission. Cargill struggled initially, but powered to her feet with the hold still locked in. She shook Naomi off. Naomi went for a spin kick, but Jade ducked. She hoisted Naomi into an Electric Chair, then spun her around into a crunching Powerbomb. She immediately followed up with Jaded for a cover and three count.
WINNER: Jade Cargill in 9:22
(This was certainly one of Cargill’s best matches to date. Naomi was incredibly motivated and impressive here, busting out some fresh offense and creating tons of movement for Jade. Cargill continues to impress physically, and is finally showing some improvement in the nuts and bolts composition of the match, but there was still some of that usual nervous energy present – you can almost see her working through her spots as they come. I think the ceiling for Jade is decidedly lower than I used to think, but there’s still something there. This, to me, was exactly what it needed to be.)
(4) LA KNIGHT (c) vs. JACOB FATU – WWE United States Championship match
Jacob Fatu stared blankly across the ring at LA Knight as the bell rang. Fatu threw a quick punch, but Knight ducked it and backed his opponent into the southwest corner. They traded punches until the referee broke them up. Knight whipped Fatu to the opposing corner, charged, and dropped him with a quick neckbreaker. As Fatu tried to stand, Knight went for the B.F.T., but Jacob just shrugged him off. Knight’s eyes grew wide. Fatu just stared at him and snarled. He gave Knight a huge pop-up Samoan Drop, then a flying back elbow.
Cole talked about Fatu’s history in prison and his commitment to bettering his life through combat sport. Fatu gave Knight a headbutt, then a legdrop and covered him for a two count. Barrett said the frenzied energy that LA Knight brought with him has all been subdued by the Samoan Werewolf. Fatu shot Knight off the ropes, but the U.S. Champion fought back with a dropkick to the knee. He sent Jacob careening to the outside, in front of the announce desks. Knight dove through the middle rope, legs first for another kick. Fatu crumbled against the desks, but recovered quickly. Back in the ring, Knight tried to catch his challenger with a dive off the middle rope, but Fatu caught him and gave him a belly-to-belly Suplex.
Fatu tried to follow up with a running Senton splash, but Knight got his knees up. Fatu shook it off and looked for another Pop-up Samoan Drop. Knight countered and delivered a Crucifix Driver. Both men struggled to stand as the match crossed 5:00. Fatu charged, but Knight sidestepped the overzealous challenger and downed him in the corner. He stomped a mud-hole, then hit a running knee. Knight followed up with a leaping clothesline and a leaping elbow off the middle rope for a cover and near fall. Fatu fought to his feet and kicked Knight in the gut. He tried to ascend the southwest corner, but the champion cut him off. Knight tried to hook Jacob on the top rope. He was thwarted initially, but was able to catch him with a release German Suplex off the top on the second attempt.
Knight looked for the B.F.T. again, but Fatu threw him away. He kicked Knight into the corner and delivered three consecutive running hip checks in the corner. He followed up with a Swanton Bomb and cover for a near fall at 8:15. A small “Fatu” broke out. Barrett said Fatu should’ve had Knight, but, “the megastar grows into the brightest of spotlights.” Fatu controlled the pace with short headbutts. He leapt to the top rope, looking for a Moonsault. Knight popped up at the last moment and caught him with a B.F.T. out of nowhere. Knight hooked the leg, but Fatu grabbed the bottom rope at the last moment.
The champion began climbing the northwest turnbuckles, trying to capitalize. Fatu rose to meet him. He kicked Knight in the ribs, then threw his body haphazardly in a Senton-like move, further impacting Knight’s ribs. He threw Knight to the mat, then hit two consecutive Moonsaults off the top rope for a cover and three count.
WINNER: Jacob Fatu in 10:38 to win the WWE United States Championship
(Really good match. Fatu is undeniable. He possesses so much charisma and so many star-like qualities, and it stood out tonight on the biggest stage. Knight brought his A-game. These two definitely benefited from working together so frequently in recent months – there was an obvious chemistry and confidence in their demeanor. I would’ve loved to see this one get an extra few minutes, but they made the absolute most of what they had. Fatu’s reign as U.S. Champion has a chance to be a lot of fun.)

(5) EL GRANDE AMERICANO vs. REY FENIX
Cole explained that Americano is from the Gulf of Mexico, not the Gulf of America. He said the ring announcer Alicia Fox didn’t get the message. Fenix replaced Rey Mysterio, who suffered an injury on Smackdown. Rey announced that he was injured and not cleared on the pre-show earlier in the day. They showed Vikingo at ringside. Cole said WWE has acquired AAA. The showed Dana White in the crowd. Americano shoved Vikingo at ringside. Vikingo kicked him in the head. Americnao rolled into the ring. The ref called for the bell 3 minutes into the third hour.
At 4:00 Americano overhead tossed Fenix onto his head in the corner. Cole said it resembled Gable. Barrett said it was the best of Gable and an experienced Luchador. Americano followed with a top rope 450 backflip senton. “What was that!” exclaimed McAfee. Americano scored a two count. Americano yanked on Fenix’s mask. Cole said a real Luchador would have more respect for masks than that. He called Barrett an idiot for calling out Cole for saying Americano should unmask. Cole said that’s because Americano isn’t a real Luchador.
Americano slid a metal plate into his mask as the ref tended to Fenix. Barrett said Cole doesn’t know it’s metal “because it hasn’t been molecularly analyzed.” Fenix made a comeback and leaped off the top rope with a kick on Americano. He sold an injured foot or ankle after he kicked American’s loaded mask. He hobbled over to Americano, who applied an anklelock mid-ring. Fenix countered with a roll-up for a two count. Americano headbutted Fenix out of mid-air seconds later. Gable landed a top rope flying headbutt with the loaded mask next for the win.
WINNER: El Grande Americano in 8:00.
(Some good athleticism. The match finish was probably precisely what they wouldn’t done if Rey hadn’t been injured. Fenix certainly was thrilled to wrestle at WrestleMania, but it’s too bad it was just as a last second replacement without a story where he then had to lose to forward the Americano story. The Cole-Barrett banter disagreeing about whether Americano is Gable is ridiculous but also fun.)
(6) TIFFANY STRATTON vs. CHARLOTTE FLAIR – Women’s Title match
Cole said Tiffany came out in a Barbie Doll box built by Mattel for WrestleMania. Charlotte, the challenger, came out second (perhaps due to seniority?). Charlotte drove onto the stage in a Rolls Royce. Tiffany was announced as being from Minneapolis, Minn. rather than Prior Lake, Minn. Cole said she had her first match less than four years ago and now she’s in the spotlight of WrestleMania “with one of the greatest if not the greatest women’s wrestler of all-time.” The bell rang 31 minutes into the third hour.
They brawled on the mat at the start and then went to ringside. Tiffany landed a chop. Charlotte kneed Tiffany. Tiffany shoved Charlotte into the ringpost. Barrett said nothing was being held back. Barrett said they were throwing potatoes at each other, “as we call it.” Back in the ring, Charlotte chopped Tiffany hard in the corner. Tiffany took over and hung Charlotte upside down in the corner and kicked her. Charlotte collapsed to the mat and Tiffany scored a two count.
Charlotte took over and head scissored Tiffany. Barrett said Charlotte had heat in the locker room for being so dismissive of everyone else in the locker room. Barrett said you might not like the personality, but she’s statistically the best. Charlotte landed a handspring elbow into the corner for a two count.
Tiffany came back with a rolling senton. Charlotte avoided a subsequent moonsault. Charlotte kicked a charging Tiffany. Tiffany landed a basement dropkick for a two count. Tiffany charged at Charlotte, but Charlotte landed a big boot for a two count at 8:00.
Charlotte chopped Tiffany and called her a bitch and told her to show her what she’s got. Charlotte avoided a charging Tiffany and chopped her. Charlotte landed a sitout powerbomb for a two count. Charlotte sat up and yelled, “F—!”
They fought back and forth for a couple more minutes. Charlotte worked over Tiffany’s legs, yanking her left leg into the ringpost. Back in the ring, she applied a figure-four leglock. Cole asked if she had enough in her injured knee to turn it into a Figure-Eight. Charlotte slapped at Tiffany. Tiffany hit Charlotte’s leg until she released it. Tiffany stood and clippped Charlotte’s left leg. Tiffany went for a Prettiest Moonsault Ever, but Charlotte lifted her knees and scored a convincing near fall with a cradle. Both were down and slow to get up.
Charlotte landed Natural Selection from the top rope a minute later for a believable near fall. Barrett noted that Tiffany had a mark on her forehead from that move. Charlotte grabbed Tiffany’s head and trash-talked her. Charlotte kicked Tiffany’s leg and went for a figure-four, but Tiffany countered with a small package. Tiffany side-stepped Charlotte trying to spear her into the corner. She flung Charlotte into the corner and then landed a rolling senton. She set up the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and landed it for the win.
Tiffany appeared to have a chipped tooth or bloody lip or both afterward. She glared down at Charlotte who looked at up at her at ringside.
WINNER: Tiffany in 20:00 to retain the Women’s Title.
(An ambitious and very good match for these two. Everything seemed smooth and professional despite real animosity surfacing in prior weeks, but I didn’t catch where Tiffany ended up with perhaps a chipped tooth. There was an edge to the match that they played into throughout. Maybe some mutual respect was earned.)

(7) C.M. PUNK (w/Paul Heyman) vs. ROMAN REIGNS vs. SETH ROLLINS
Seth made his entrance with a flame thrower. Fans sang his song as he posed on the ramp and then strutted to the ring. Roman Reigns came out second, which means Punk got to the symbolically prestigious last entrance slot along with Heyman. A video package on Punk aired packed with vintage footage including him reciting prior lines about who he is with his young self saying them and his current self saying them. Punk and Heyman came onto the stage to a live performance of his “Cult of Personality” entrance theme. When Punk kneeled, Heyman moved in and kissed his forehead, then high-fived him. Cole exclaimed that “in living color, C.M. Punk is in the main event of WrestleMania.” They showed Reigns pensively soaking it in from his corner. A graphic noted it’s Punk’s first WrestleMania since 2013. When Punk entered the ring, he looked over at Seth and hard-winked at him in an antagonizing manner. Cole asked where Heyman’s allegiance really lies. Fans sang “Roman Reigns” European style. Reigns took off the Trump-red Ula Fala and then glared at Heyman and placed it next to a ringpost in his corner. The bell rang 25 minutes into the hour.
All three stared at each other. Punk was glowing, then rolled to the floor to confer with Heyman and gloat that he had him in his corner. He put his arm around Heyman. Reigns punched Seth as he was mouthing off at him. He mounted Seth and punched away at him. Punk went after Reigns from behind. Punk delivered a stiff chop to Seth’s chest. Then he turned and kicked Roman’s leg. Reigns knocked Punk over the top rope. He rolled to ringside and delivered a Drive By to Seth, leaping over Punk on his way.
Reigns picked up Punk and rammed his head into the ring apron. Reigns yelled at Heyman from across the ring and then shook his head in disdain. Seth leaped thorugh the ropes into Reigns, ramming him back-first into the barricade and then the ringside steps. Punk and Seth swung wildly at each other. Cole said Seth resents Punk for leaving the company and bad-mouthing the company for years afterward.
Punk and Seth brawled into the crowd. Barrett touted Punk being in the best shape he’s been in for 15 years. Seth bashed Punk with a trash can. Reigns leaped over the barricade and tackled both. Then Reigns tossed punk onto a ringside table of energy drinks. Reigns then cleared the Spanish announce desk. They showed Heyman. Barrett said the sour look on Heyman’s face told the story.
Reigns stayed in control when the action returned to the ring at 9:00. Punk set up a GTS. Seth avoided it, so Punk landed a running knee to the jaw of Reigns. Punk smiled as he assessed having both opponents down in opposite corners. Punk kneed Reigns in the chin in one corner, then Seth in the opposite corner. He then DDT’d both at once when they came after him mid-ring.
Punk leaped off the top rope and landed a flying elbowdrop onto Seth. Punk bodyslammed Reigns and climbed to the top again. Seth set up a superplex, but Reigns leaped up and put Seth on his shoulders. Punk then gave Seth a Doomsday Device to Seth off of Reigns’s shoulders. Reigns landed a Superman Punch on Punk for a two count. With everyone down, they cut to a wide shot of the 60,000 in attendance. Reigns let out a roar and went for a spear, but Punk kneed him. Punk went for a GTS, but Roman elbowed out of it. Reigns and Punk exchanged strikes mid-ring as the crowd yelled along. Punk came out of it with a two count. He followed with an Anaconda Vice at 14:00. Seth broke it up with a frog splash for a two count on Reigns.
Seth stood and kicked both Reigns and Punk. He mounted Punk and punched away at him, then bucklebombed him. As Punk and Seth battled for their finishers, Reigns speared them. Reigns went for a spear, but Seth turned it into a mid-air Pedigree. He then stomped Reigns and kicked Punk out of the ring before covering Reigns for a near fall that popped the crowd at 16:00. Cool sequence.
Punk set up a GTS, but Reigns speared Seth instead. Punk then gave Reigns a GTS for a near fall. They cut to Heyman. Barrett said Heyman was distraught at ringside. Punk signaled for a GTS on Reigns. Reigns resisted. Seth entered and gave Punk a Pedigree for a two count. Seth bent over and yelled at Roman, saying he’s all alone. “Of course you don’t know!” He said Punk doesn’t belong there and they could take him out together. Seth then went after Punk at ringside with a kick to the head. Seth cleared the announce desk. Reigns walked over and watched. He kneeled. Cole said Reigns was torn and didn’t know what to do. Reigns yelled, “Pick him up! Yeah!” Cole said the Shield Bomb was coming. Reigns then punched Seth and gave Punk the powerbomb onto the announce desk himself. He seethed and seemed to be releasing rage.
Reigns looked over at Seth. Barrett said Reigns suckerpunched Seth. Reigns then powerbombed Seth through another announce desk. He threw Seth into the ring and delivered a spear for a dramatic near fall. Heyman was shown exhaling. Reigns yelled, “Who calls for a favor, huh?” He grabbed Punk and threw him back into the ring. Cole yelled at Heyman that it was all his fault. Reigns applied a standing guillotine. He dropped to the mat. Punk struggled and then flipped over into a bridge for a two count. PUnk then put Reigns in an Anaconda Vice mid-ring. Seth entered and applied a sharpshooter, but he gave Punk a middle finger before turning over to wrench it on. Punk yelled out in pain.
Reigns stood and put Seth in a guillotine. Seth stood and fisherman suplexed Reigns into a bridge. Reigns held on, though. Punk delivered a stomp to Reigns. He gave Seth a GTS for a near fall at 26:00. All three were down and slow to get up. Punk sat up first. Barrett said Heyman looked completely lost. Cole said Heyman has burned every bridge he ever had.
Punk began to set up a GTS on Reigns, but Seth intervened. Punk gave Seth a GTS. Reigns speared Punk. Seth stomped Reigns, but then collapsed. “Everybody is down!” exclaimed Cole. “This is absolutely incredible.” They showed Heyman walking over to the time keeper’s area. He picked up a chair. Cole noted there are no DQs in Triple Threat matches. Heyman eyed Punk and then Reigns. Reigns saw Heyman with the chair. Punk called for the chair. Heymann shook his head no at Reigns, then slid it to Punk. Reigns looked devastated. Cole said Heyman turned his back on Reigns to help his best friend Punk. Heyman entered and led Punk toward Reigns, but then low-blowed Punk from behind. Reigns started laughing.
Heyman cried and threw a fit, yelling, “You made me do it!” Heyman then handed the chair to Reigns like a platter, kneeling in front of him. Reigns picked up the chair. Heyman said, “I acknowledge you, my Tribal Chief.” Reigns smashed Punk over and over with the chair. Heyman told Reigns to look at Seth. Reigns pushed Heyman aside and then wound up to hit Seth from behind with the chair. Heyman, though, then gave Reigns a low-blow. Seth realized what was happening and exhaled. Heyman then lifted the chair and approached Seth. He handed it to Seth. Fans popped as Cole called Heyman a piece of garbage. “This is absolute insanity!” said Cole. Fans sang Seth’s song. A ref checked on Reigns. Seth then waited for him to stand and then bashed him across the back. He followed with a stomp and scored a three count.
Cole threw a barrage of insults at Heyman including “Benedict Arnold” and “leech” and “cockroach.” He called it an alliance they never thought they’d see. He said you cannot kill Heyman who always finds a way to end up at the top of the business. He said he is sick. McAfee wondered how long this had been the plan.
WINNER: Seth Rollins in 33:00.
(A lot happened in that match before Heyman helped Seth win, so that aspect of the way the story was told was contrived. What if Roman or Punk scored a three count before Heyman could turn on them? One of the aspects of this story that felt weird was what a price they’d pay and how much they’d miss out on if either Punk or Reigns turned heel. Heyman with Seth gives Seth a new character to work with and a new dynamic. I’m not sure how I feel about the Heyman-Seth dynamic, though. This is a lot to process. I suppose it makes sense that Seth believed this match would give him control of the industry.)
