ooooooooooooooooooooooh snow. lots and lots and lots of snow. for those of you non-east coasters, we got shitted (shatted? shat?) on with snow. HOO boy. in 3.5 hours, parts of NJ got 15 inches of snow. my hicky lil town, randolph, got on all local and major NY-area news as being the recipient of the most snow, 27" ...and you know what they say about... um... big snow... anywho, here's some pics fer ya.  ...and...

the top pic shows how buried the car got. note the 14" on top of the car (which was the amount that accumulated AFTER i already cleared it out...TWICE that day) the bottom pic shows casa de gob. i took the 4 wheel drive jeep out for a ride during the day, which is why it remains slightly clean. both pics are from around 3 AM, dec 31, about 24 hours after the snow started, and, ...yeah, its still fallin. the driveway had already been plowed twice. so, t'morrow, i gotta put my 24" pythons back t'work, n'dig everything out AGAIN. ...oy... ------------------

oooh -- now we can track La Casa del Gob! I'm pissed -- when the system changed at the last minute, Cherry Hill got only 8" -- I was hoping for the forecasted 14-18" to compensate for all the snow I missed while out in CA...

We've had about 3 feet fall already this winter in Chicago, and usually we don't get any till after the first of the year... It was neat at first, but now it's a fuckin' mess... Most of the other townhomes in my subdivision have been leakin' from snow melting off the roofs, but so far I've been lucky. I will have to get all my comic boxes (over forty!!!) up off the floor in my basement before the spring thaw tho, cus I know I'm gonna get washed out... *sigh* ------------------

Oooh, I remember. Isn't this the two part episode where you get trapped in the basement and it starts to flood? And then whenever someone else enters the basement the door shuts behind them and they get locked in too?

ya, i got lots of snow to. it would help if the fucking plow came too! then i have to shovel 20" of damn snow which turns into ice by the time the damn plow comes!

We keep getting bullshit snow...3 or 4". Enough to be a pain in the ass but, not enough to shut down the city. Sometimes, I long for my youth in Buffalo...every year, you just knew that school would be closed for at least 10 days.
