downloaded all (i think) songs from napster the other day. the cd is PHENOMENAL!!! rarely do i find a cd that i enjoy all songs on it (i think only once or twice). each song could be a hit release single. aerosmith rocks, boyo. dontchyou doubt that.

Longtime Aerosmith fan myself, since the Permenant Vacation album, and haven't had a chance to pick up this CD yet. Plannin' on it this weekend, though.

The odd thing I've noticed about Aerosmith, though, is that their studio stuff is awesome, but live....they kinda suck, IMO.
I've seen them twice, when they were on tour for "Get A Grip" and again when the "Nine Lives" album came out. They have a killer stage show, but their performances seem to be lacking....maybe it's just the fact that I've been completely hammered outta my skull both times I saw them, but that usually doesn't affect how much I enjoy music. Oh well....

What pisses me off about the shows is the fact they dont allow alcohol to be purchased during the show!

i have most of the new cd's mp3s on my server and, hopefully, this weekend, i can finally update my mp3 page. screw that whole winamp locker crap. ill just pop it right up on my MP3 page, like i planned t'do in december.

anyway, grab the files from there. for sampling purposes, of course, in preparation from legally purchasing the CD from your local store or internet provider. ... yes...

and, no, i've never seen'em live. i've been to countless clubs and raves, but never a concert. aerosmith is probably the only band i'd ever be willing to see live, tho.

That's why ya gits boozed up before the show...

I prefer catching acts in a club, anyways....preferablly one that serves booze.
One of my favorite concert goin' venues is a place called Bogart's in Cincinnati....

I've been there several times and caught a few bands there: The Offspring, Misfits, GWAR!, Dope, Static-X, Chevelle, Powerman 5000, White Zombie (back in the day),Mike Ness (with and without Social Distortion)The Rollins Band, Anthrax....I caught Everlast there last month.
Other than that, I enjoy stadium shows. I've caught The Rolling Stones twice at Riverfront...once for "Voodoo Lounge" and again for "Bridges to Babylon"...wanted to catch the "No Security" tour, but tickets for that were ridulously high in price. AC/DC and Ozzy (especailly now that OZZFEST has been in business) are always great to see in outdoor venues. I've caught Ozzy for "No More Tears" (jesus, that was when I was a senior in high school...I am gettin' old), twice at Ozzfest(the first time for the Black Sabbath Reunion, an act I never thought would reunite). At Ozzfest, I've caught numerous acts (Rob Zombie's stage show the year he was touring with it was awesome!)...almost as many as Lolapolluza (many....those were the days..it's a shame they don't re-organize that show, I caight it '92 and '93)...

All I've got to say, Rob, is that ya need to get out more...I'm starting to feel old compared to you (concert-going wise).

ive just never really liked a band enuf to go see a concert. i like certain djs, i like certain spinners, but ... bands... i dunno. just not big on'em. i have very specific music tastes, and most of the performers i'm into (like moby, or stylez, or fbslim, or danny elfman, or orbital,e tc, etc) they dont put on the standard shows big rock bands do.

i worked on a radio station for awhile while at school still (89.5, wsou... biggest college station in the nation. also the biggest hard rock station in the nation). i got free tickets and offers all the time to go to shows, but... its really just not my thing.

aerosmith, on the other hand, is probably the only rock band (in the classic sense) that i'd go to see live.

Grasshopper, you have not lived until you've seen GWAR! live....I've never had so much fun gettin' hit by green slime bein' shot by a band that's armed with supersoakers...
Plus, whenever I take in a concert, especially at a club, I immediately try to get floor tickets. The Pit...there's nothin' like it in life outside of professional 'rasslin'....it's not like the good ol' days, though....crowd ridin' is about as far as you can go, because most acts' security hate stage divers.

I actually saw GWAR once at an autograph signing at a local record store. Very sad and pitiful, with their manager walking around begging people to come get their autographs and nobody cared. Actually, not pitiful, but funny!

Hah! I love it when bands in cheesy costumes get humiliated!

Get the fuck out!
