i wonder if the marvel movies will put in little side jokes on how, thus far, x-men, spider-man, daredevil, and soon, hulk all take place in NYC.

I don't think that the Hulk is taking place in NY. I think it's on the West Coast.

I been waiting for this one (screw Daredevil, I like the comic too much to go and see Affleck n' company mess it up). I really had doubts about the CGI hulk....I know its the only was they can really do it right..but I remember shit CGI from a few years back.......However since Ive seen the Two Towers and the magnificent Gollum....I think they might be able to make it sweet.

Comics2Film has received a couple of early reports on the Hulk Super Bowl spot. Apparently the footage has been showing up at different places in tinsel town, in preparation for next weekend's national broadcast. The reports we've received come from known sources who have access to such things.

Note: the following report contains spoilers for this trailer. If you want to experience the trailer spoiler-free on Super Bowl Sunday, read no further! Otherwise, swipe the invisible text below with your mouse to read more about the 30-second might of the incredible Hulk!

One scooper tells us that the Hulk he saw resembles the early Jack Kirby penciled creature from the comic book's initial, six-issue run. Both spies agree that the footage features shots of jade-jaws crashing up through floors and through San Francisco streets as he power jumps out of underground passages.

Get this. The new spot will feature a classic Hulk maneuver right out of the funny books: the incredible Hulk picking up an army tank and swinging it!

It won't be long until Super Bowl Sunday, but can fans stand the wait?

In related news Greg's Previews of Upcoming Movies says the first full trailer for the flick is due in theaters February 14th. Naturally the Hulk spot will be a Marvel team-up with Daredevil.

Well thats plain nuts according Stan Lee, the Marvel writers can only put heros in New York because the writers live there!

Besides...we all know NY is the CENTER OF THE FRIGGIN UNIVERSE!!!! [yuh huh]

The same Stan Lee who firmly set the original Hulk series in New Mexico (or at least somewhere that was clearly NOT New York)??? [nyah hah]

Apparently you know nothing of Stan Lee if you consider him an imaginative creator.

I hope there is no truth to this but I was told in the Hulk movie he grows bigger and bigger as his anger grows. In the last part of the movie the Hulk is like 20' tall. GAWD I hope that's all bull. [DOH!]

Why not? That's the way his power works in the comic. This is a comic book adaptation film. You know that, right?

Some nice hackers on the net were able to find the trailer that will appear during the Super Bowl. If you can't wait until then, click here to get the link to the site. There's no telling how long this will last.

There are some cool fucking Hulk shots. Looks like they decided to give him pants.

Sorry, folks. The link's dead already. If you didn't get a chance to see it, it should be aired during the Superbowl during the first quarter.

It really did kick ass, though.

Someone at the Dc boards suggested that the CGI looked rough and unfinished..I'm inclined to agree even though I liked what I saw...

Okay, it was better than Lou Ferigno or however you spell his name. Throwing tanks looks nice. Reminds me of when Superman punted a ball into orbit. Okay, not the same, but he was thinner and not quite as mature (plus the movie and special affect had still a long ways to come).

Bottom line, I will see it. Won't see Daredevil. That looks like Monkey piss. Jennifer Garner, the hot Biker Chick who can do splits and make shiny knives move a lot. Ben Afflick, dork who is visually impaired, but has reason to believe he is Spiderman. Colin Farrell, a rising talent who seriously hurts his career by appearing bald with a scar on his forehead in this movie. The Kingpin is .... black? Okay. I can understand, the movie looks bad as it is. Might as well give it to Shaquille O'Neal.

I am for the Hulk though. Eric Bana has potential. Jennifer Connelly has purty eyes.

good reason fer it -- it is unfinished.

from what i've heard and read, the finalized cgi graphics and effects wont be complete until mid-to-late april (tho, technically, its possible to push that until june)

To which I say: if it doesn't delay the release of the movie and it gives us the best possible finished product, they should continue to work until June, if that what it takes.
