Yes, this is the website for Good Ol' Sect's band...

It even has tour dates, so you can stalk Sect, too!

*sniff* Sect...

Hey, some of us still remember and love Sect. Not a day goes by where I don't listen to one of his mp3s.

I once slightly annoyed Chuck Dixon... and I pretend that my G.I. Joe Tunnel Rat figure is really Larry Hama...

I once yelled at Mark Waid.

He didn't hear me (he's on a different continent), but somehow, I knew he got the gist of it...

Jim Lee was cool. He was the only famous Image person there. It was an AIDS benefit at some local comic shop.

Jim Lee did some cool art in the first issue of "Flinch".

But his X-men stuff bores me.

The thing that bothers me is that I had an issue of X-Men that he did the cover for... I'd have rather gotten that signed.

Funny story, I buy an X-Men poolparty poster, drawn by Lee, at a swap meet, and I later find out that it's made out to Mike and signed by Lee. So I have two Jim Lee signed thingies!

And I gots issue 50 of The Sandman signed by Gaiman, Justice League #1 signed by Kevin Maguire(or whoever the artist is) and a picture of the cast of the crappy Fantastic Four movie signed by Mr Fantastic, Invisible Woman, and Dr. Doom! All bought at swap meets! I also will probably get skin cancer as a result of being in the sun so much...

That friend of mine who called Greg Land for no reason has "Superman: Peace on Earth" signed by Alex Ross and Paul Dini. It looks cool.

He's one of the best artists in the biz, in my ever so humble opinion. He's recently signed an exclusive contract with Crossgen, but prior to that move, he did some very memorable (not to mention fairly recent) work on "Birds of Prey" and "Nightwing". He was one of the three artists that worked on the last issue of "JLA: Rock of Ages"... good stuff...
