not really "vs." and not so much the current, or even more popular gl. im talkin 'bout that kuh-razy alan scott. his home town was gotham city, usa. ... then, poof, batman's home town was gotham city usa. and yet... they've only really met twice. one was (i think) a batman chronicles story, where alan scott sorta passed-on the gotham torch to batman. the other was a (VERY WELL WRITTEN) 'chase' issue, where chase met up with both alan scott / bruce wayne AND sentinel / batman. eh?

They also met in an interesting storyline in Starman. Sentinel, bat-Man, Starman went into Solomon Grundy's mind to try and save a certain aspect of his personality. It was pretty cool.

hmm... wuzzis recent? now that you mention that, i seem to remember a shadow of the bat tale, where batman faced grundy, and they had flashbacks of "historical" bouts between alan scott and solomon.

hmm... i just might be forced to read that issue, then. regardless, i still think it odd that the two have met VERY briefly, at best. their pairing in the chase book (which was actually really cool, as most chase stories were) was good - and gave the impression they've worked or met several times before.
