digitaldawg, I still have Ratchet, the ambulance who is essentially the same robot as Ironhide, and it always bugged me too that the toy robots had no heads and were so clunky and had those silly scooter-things. Ratchet was one of my favorite TFs in the comic, but it sucked that he died horribly in the movie (so did Ironhide, by the way!) and his toy sucked.
Did you know Takara is re-releasing a Ratchet/Ironhide two-pack soon? I think they are doing this with some of the earlier TFs who were obvious repaints of each other: Sideswipe/Red Alert and Starscream/Thundercracker/Skywarp are also rumored to be in this assortment.
