At the moment, nothing.

He does the "War Story" oneshots for Vertigo every now and then. If you're a fan of historical fiction I highly recommend them, fantastic stuff. I imagine he has another "Just a Pilgrim" miniseries for Black Bull on the way, soon.

Outside of that, your guess on what he's planning is as good as mine.

Did you read "The Pro"?

Him and Steve Dillon are supposed to be working on a new Vertigo book, but nothing has been released about it yet. I thought it was going to be an ongoing series with a definate conclusion (ala Preacher), but I could be wrong. He also has a Thor mini in the works. Something more along the mythological side and less super-heroey...I think DC just announced that he's gonna do some more War Stories too, but I can't remember...

I read one of the war stories....it was pretty depressing but good

Ennis doing Thor could be real intertesing

"The Pro" is great, if you're an Ennis fan you must read it. It's a oneshot from Image Comics(drawn by Amanda Conner), and it's basically a pisstake, a satirical look at the superhero world from the perspective of a super powered prostitute. It's side-splittingly funny. You may have to go "out of your way" to find it, though, it's extremely vulgar and highly suggestive, so it won't be in just any neighborhood bookstore. My local comic shop refused to carry it, infact.

Requisite Prometheus joke that he will rag on me for making, but would actually be upset about if I didn't say something: They made a comic about Pro?

There it's done. I never said it was a good joke. . .

Considering the way the last one ended I doubt he will write any
new Pilgrim stories. [sad]

Check this shit out, Chuckie:

Also in the press conference today (Monday), Quesada spoke about the upcoming Punisher: Born project. "It's going to be written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Darick Robertson," Quesada said. "The official name is Born, and it's coming out from the MAX imprint. It's the true origin of the Punisher. What happened in Central Park is not the full story."

This one will be great for Punisher fans. The origin has never really been fully explored. Punisher is a great character and will always be one to read. Punisher fans make sure to your eyes out for this book.

I finally got my copy of the Pro in.........man, its sick-funny.....You tell Ennis wrote not that long after 9-11. Despite its gutter humor (or as I like to call it......My humor) its got an interesting messege.
