BTW I have managed to both have alot of fun on the DCMB + not get banned.
Dammit people you have to remember two things.
10 year old kids can use a computer now and like Batman too. So someone has to stop the cursing. The poster or the moderator.
Two: We're all there because we enjoy comics. How hard could it be to mention them once in a while during your discussions about the pros and cons of spicy mustard and the best places to use it?

Hey Dinky, don't take the banning personally. If I had to guess, I'd say that at least half of the regular posters on this board have been banned from the DCMBs at one time or another. I've never been banned, but I have had a thread or two deleted.

Never got banned, but I just stopped going to the DCMBs. Too many "Batman versus Superman, Green Lantern, and GOD" threads. I'll probably take a good, long peek after the reboot, though.

there could be different flash animations, there could be NO flash animations.
really, the potter boards, themselves, have no flash -- its just the navigation on the left (which is for the site, not really the boards). so, unless dc's new site (which will accompany their new boards) has a flash navigation (of which, i did not note), there's no reason to think there will be a flash navigation on the boards.
as for other kinda limits and features, im checking into the admin section now, and we're determining what is and is not going to be used on the new boards.
...oh....
and btw....
a release date has been set.
