And how's that anywhere near what Rorschach was like?
Compared to a Question that talks to cities the other guy looks sane...

RORSCHACH looks sane? Compared to a Question that talks to the cities RORSCHACH looks SANE?
What are Rorschach's biggest characteristics? -He's crazy -He's violent
How's the new Question? -Crazy -Violent
Veicht is looking back at the original, but he's also taking elements from Rorschach. His interpretation of the character will be a mix of both things.

No, he's not.
"I wasn't interested in that. The challenge was how can we stay true to the basic character, while still making him over the top, in the same sense that Rorschach was, but without copping to Rorschach in any way, shape or form."
He wants to do something that enhances the character but without turning him into an imitation of Rorschach.

Exactly. He wants to take elements from Rorschach (he clearly has, there's not discussion about that. come on. a crazy and violent guy in a trenchcoat, a hat and a weird mask.) without ripping Rorschach off. See, taking elements from a character doesn't mean copying it. Veicht said so himself in the interview: Rorschach is the best version of the character, but he's not interested in doing Rorschach. Instead, he's taking elements from the character and mixing them with the original concept.

I'm for continuity and good writers.
The end.

I'm more scared if G-man agrees along with you. If that happens I'll have to disagree!

I used to get uptight about continuity, but the concept of Hypertime helps. Now when I see something that's flat out contradictory to something that happened previously, I count to ten, then say "Aw, fuck it. Hypertime."

Isn't that the worst of both worlds?
You're saying you perceive a need for continuity, but that mistakes can be explained by a half-developed plot device?

I think continuity should exist, but I don’t think that the stories should be so tied into it by design. A lot of books these days seem to have every issue tied closely in to something that happened a long time ago.
