Oh, and in case anyone missed it on the main thread here about the DCMBs ... the last day for the old ones, as Rob has now announced, apparently -is- next Thursday, 22 May.
Sixty more to go over there for me, I'm gonna get my 3000. I'll make it if I have to post some wordy classics about "my sister" from the past {grin}

I think I'm beginning to see a tinge of red in the skies over at the old DCMB. I was trying to answer a thread on the Black Dawn and it took a couple of tries to even get the page to load. Then it 404'd out on me a few times before coming back blank. I finally got the response posted but it took some doing.

Lightning Lad is sending along a Dawny avatar among a batch of 'em this evening, from her first gig with the Legion (thanks for that). I already sent along to Rob a somewhat more smiling portrait, originally done by Bruce Patterson. Doesn't my sister have a lovely face?
The Legion board at the Old Place is going nuts, with a whole buncha new "The Official 'I Love _____' Thread" entries, so you can wax poetic or otherwise about your own favorites.
As I did about Sis. I put up items from a Legionnaire Questionnaire, a Usenet posting about her, and links to some of my soon-to-be-moved Webbed pieces of Dawnstar art (and some showing yours truly as well).

I love the Wildfire Avatar you use!!
Ferro Lad was available, so I chose him.
Wildfire is one of the Ten Legion figures I have in my display case in My entertainment center.
The others are all Dc Direct figures - Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, Cosmic Boy, Mone - El, Brainiac 5, Ultra Boy, Star Boy, Sun Boy & Chameleon Boy.
Sure wish they'd make all the Girl figures, and the rest of the Boys from the Adventure run, too!
Then they need to start on ALL the Other incarnations of the Legion!
Then I'll need a Bigger apartment, Lol!
800 Square feet will NOT hold THAT many Legionairres!!!!

I've got a Drura and a Tenzil (Sprouse with sunglasses) ready to send to Rob. I've also got an Invisible Kid II, 2 versions of Calamity King for Eryk, Night Girl and a Jo for Matt (not an Olivier as I couldn't find one). I was hoping to find one of Arms Fall Off Boy but Splitter was the only image I could find. Anyone know off hand what issue(s) he may have appeared in?
And while I'm at it, any other requests? I'd like to get a few more before I send them off to Rob.
