Good morning all you sleepyheads.
I get here at 4 a.m. Eastern Time (5 a.m. in N.S.), just as the others are falling sleep at the keyboard and dropping like flies.
(Nice to have the company of a few earlybirds or night owls. I guess Greybird and Deanlegion are west coast guys, so it's bedtime soon for them.)
Now I go out for a run. Thriftshop, you inspired me - waffles for breakfast.

Nightowl, here in Ciudad de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Angeles. Anyway, is this never getting to bed, or getting up WAY early? Haven't figured it out ...
At least, I saw Dean having signed on from Seattle before I left. (I never log out!) Also shared an artwork of his that's especially special to me, over in the Celebrity Encounters thread.

I'm here, it's been a bit of a rough morning. Mrs. matlock and I put Maddy in a new daycare this morning and she cried and cried when we left, although by now she's probably playing with all the other little ones and generally taking charge of the situation.

Matt, thanks for the concern. Maddy stuck to us like glue all night last night, and it turned out some other little boy had hit her on the head! Wretched little brat! Well, she's probably just biding her time til she lowers the boom. She's pretty big for her age, and not one to suffer indignity lightly.

Her pediatrician has estimated her eventual height at like 5-8, 5-9 so she's going to loom over her mom and me. I think it's from my wife's side; I come from short people.
