For anyone who's interested...

There is a "mock" convention on-line every spring and fall where action figure customizers come together and showcase their work. It started this past Monday (Oct 6 2003) and will end tomorrow (Oct 10 2003).

I post it here because their is a large Legion line this year that some of you might enjoy. Links follow.

Great eye on the 86 X-Men... They were made by Iron Cow (aka Matt Cauley). I think he's a graphic designer in the Jersey/New York area. He's definitely the best customizer around. He used to be teamed up with Casimir but they split. I'll post links to their sites later, 'cause they are fan-flippin-tastic.

big fan o'that guy for a while, cuz of all the batman stuff that goes on over there. lotsa skill. he puts a shit load of work and effort into each custom, and it really shows.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Always nice to get positive feedback from a group I would consider a tough crowd.

Steve: That Timberwolf started out with a paint scheme close to the present day's Brin. The orange wasn't coming out right, and the head was so Silver-agish and non-feral that I just wasn't getting a good feeling about him. After a little research, I liked your design the best so I scraped off the crappy paint job and put on the one you saw. I think it came out much better. Thanks for the inspiration.
