After months of battle against red-tape, jumping through hoops, filling in forms in quadrupliate (well OK, just the two), I can now proclame victory! Well sort of... Yes I have finally been successful in getting my future in-laws out of Vietnam for the wedding! They'll be flying in on the 16th November... Now all I have to do is force my body corporate into submission to get my leaking shower fixed before they arrive. Then it'll be round 2 with the Vietnam goverment to allow DBP's sister out too. Plus I still have deal with the Australian government for DBP's residency application. Brit takes a few deep breaths, picks up a new Britannerang and charges into the fray once more... Brit: Though I should still have time to get the Starsky-Hutch Awards out tonight ![[um.... uh huh! ... ]](graemlins/umuhhuh001.gif) By the way only 6 more weekends to the wedding (the real one that is, not the story)!

I'll post an update of the activities of JLR ASK Force and ACDC on Sunday.
Actually I was hoping that War would have finished by now as well. I'm nearly ready to start posting JLR: The Wedding, but I have to wait until War finishes.
My original plan was to post the wedding of Brit and DBP on my actual wedding day - oh well, it'll have to be a retrospective story now.

Sadly it is true, I do look like a dork with glasses
I cannot, however, stress the fact that they military prescription glasses enough! They are not meant to look good, they are meant to take a beating.
Funny thing is I don´t need, I only got them because the Optometrist decided I should have them. Of course I disagreed at first, but eventually I agreed, because she was hot ![[humina humina]](graemlins/love.gif)

Hello everyone. Glad to see the members of the JLR are alive and well. Being Brian A. Ortiz, however, is taking up too much of my time. I had to send Midnight Spectre into exile. Considering what's happened since September, I may very well have to reverse that. To illustrate my point. I'll post a brief list. If anyone wants details, send a PM my way. - My mother moving to Maryland two days before the start of the semester...
- ...and keeping me up twenty-seven hours to help her pack whatever she couldn't put into storage
- Her and my sister using half of my closet as storage
- The new residence halls not opening until mid-October
- The roommate that was (and still is) everyone's social nightmare (Think of a well-mannered but still slightly mentally imbalanced Joker)
- Being busy with class
- Possibly being 24 credits short of graduation, which could mean an extra semester and not going to grad school after college as originally planned
- Acting as treasurer for two organizations
- My radio show
- Being reminded that a guy who hasn't spoken to a girl who lives on campus (and he doesn't) since the summer has a better chance of getting a date with her...
- ...and she lives down the hall from me. (I just heard their cell phone conversation.)
- All the other girls worth dating having boyfriends
The list goes on, but I said I'd keep it brief. Plus I'm not one to complain. I prefer to adapt to changing situations.

Yes, my radio show. My roommate officially titled it "The Secret Garden." It's on Friday nights from 8-10. I mostly play R&B and other music that sets the tone for slow, passionate lovemaking. It doesn't broadcast very far off-campus, but it's better than nothing.
I haven't made any adverstisements/flyers, so as far as I know, my current fan base is zero.

There is a radio show in Virginia with that same love-making music format. It doesn't come on the air, though, until midnight. It's still the number 1 radio show in Va, however, so who knows? Maybe you have more listeners than you thought.
