Don´t you need permissions to have a radioshow?
and what about royalties for the artists whose music you play?

[who, me?]

No, seriously, a radio show sounds interesting

Hey Midnight, the new name is great!

BTW, your show isn't called Midnight's midnight mood music for (young) couples perchance?

Life certainly seems to be keeping you busy.

But don't worry about the ladies situation.

In my school days, I was always the go-between with the friends of the girls who fancied my friends (or the friends of the girls that my friends fancied). In high-school (and a couple of years after), everytime a friend's girlfriend had relationship troubles with my friend, they would kept asking me for advice (damn frustrating).

During these years, no one asked me out and I never had the courage to ask anyone out. [sad]

I think I was about 21 before I went on my first date (and that was just a movie, nothing else), I think I was about 25 when I started going out with my first girlfriend (and nothing more than kissing and petting took place in the years we were together). And 28 before I met my soul-mate (Di Bat Pho) [biiiig grin] . So don't fret on the women situation - All good things take time (which is easy to say in hind-sight, but at the time, I was beginning to wonder myself [wink] ).

Otherwise, take it easy. Don't overdo it. And enjoy!

If you don't already, maybe you could start a request/dedication line during your show. One of the Sydney radio stations is very popular for doing the romantic song request/dedication show.

You never know, someone may dedicate a song to you?

No. My roommate (who also acts as Operations Manager for the radio club) gave it an...interesting title: The Secret Garden: The Forbidden Fruit.

I've tried it previously, but the response so far has been nil. I'll have to design a series of flyers as well as continue word-of-mouth advertisement, that should boost the number of requests significantly.

Yes, that was really a cool post Ace, though I wonder who is going to fall victim to Froggy, the teleporting frog next? [mwah hwah haa] [mwah hwah haa]

Anyhoo, soon you will see other old acquaintences in JLR War!

I believe that I should get something posted tomorrow, at least I´ll try. I´ve got the 2 first seasons of Star Trek Enterprise, and I´m trying to watch them as fast as I can, so it takes up a lot of my time, but still, I´ll try!

Ohh, and one more thing, my dad and I went fishing today, and I caught 3 fish, can you believe it?

3 FISH!!!!

Anyhoo, the only thing I like about fish is the fishing part, I leave the eating part to others!

that´s all for this time, I have to go running

Hey Chant,

If you don't eat the fish, you may wish to consider what Rex Hunt does on his fishing show here in Australia.

After catching the fish, he kisses them and throws them back in the water, so they get to swim about a bit more, before ending up as someone's dinner.

Hehehe... Thanks. Guess that's what comes from holding in all your writing for so long and then just releasing it all at once.

Chant, I know what you mean. I can't stand eating fish either. Thinking of those big fish eyes just looking up all blank doesn't tempt me too much, plus I've never liked the taste.

Midnight- I agree with everyone else. Cool new name. [wink]

And of course " [biiiig grin] HAPPY BIRTHDAY JLR!!! [biiiig grin] "

As mentioned above, killing a thread is a crime punishable by death according to Chantania Law! [mwah hwah haa]

And since you are currently awful close to Chantania I would watch my back MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!

Hi all,

My latest post has a PG (Parental Guidance) rating. [gulp!]

I'm going to make one more post. Then Mr. Misinformation is going to make one.

Then it's fare-thee-well for me, temporarily, as I have to knuckle down and prepare for the wedding (the real one that is).

But I'll still be hanging around the talk thread, and I'm looking forward to see where the rest of you take our merry band of heroes (and evil postmasters and mistresses of internet pop-ups) :)

I hope to be posting again before Christmas. Once War is finsished I'll start posting JLR: The Wedding.

Cheers!

And besides, stealing is a bit sladerous. Borrowed maybe... [nyah hah]

Anyhoo. Do with Hoppy as you will.

My work is done, until after my wedding. But I'll be in touch.

And Happy 400 Chant! -

Hello Ya all!

I know I have never actively talked to you, but now I´d like to know! When and how am I going to get paid for the work I do?

I mean, I´m telling a lot of stories here and have yet to see a single dime, quarter, dollar or whatever!

Anyhow, hope you enjoy my work and I´ll get back to telling the stories!

You're crusing for a brusing from The Narrator, if your not careful Wednesday... [gulp!]
[wink]

Dear The Narrator,

As mortals, we are not responsible for any expenses incurred by higher beings.

May I suggest that you speek with The Moderator (aka Gob) about any recompence you may seek.

Alternatively, your real-imitation gold painted, lead statuette (or Starsky) should be delivered shortly.

We can supply you with a list of local Pawn Shops for your convenience.

Have a nice day!

I tell the stories and I can make you squeal like a pig, or a turkey, which I seriously doubt you would appreciate these days [nyah hah]
