My origin!-
Hybrid’s powers are the result of genetic engineering. He gained them while testing an experiment on himself that was being used to help endangered animals by giving them an edge over others. These powers give him a hyper accelerated evolutionary growth rate (fancy term for saying that he evolves to his surroundings quickly) He’s in water his power grows him gills and flippers, he’s falling and he grows wings, he’s in the dark and he’s got cat eyes or echolocation plus other neat-o things like camouflage and climbing walls!) This powers also allows him to adapt and fit in well with other people. Although sometimes his wild animal instincts can get the better of him and cause him to lose control.

I feel the same way about my story. I have ideas but they haven't gelled. For my own good, I hope I'll get a chance to rest my brain a little after finals are over; then I can come back recharged.

Hey guys (and gal). First off, I'd like to say thanks for the 2003 Starsky-Hutch Hall of (Justice) Fame Award ( ![[woooOOOOoooo!]](graemlins/smilewoo.gif) ) Secondly, I believe Brit was the only one I told on this board but a few weeks ago I came down with pneumonia. Now, I'm better (and have been for a week or two) but that plus the general hectic nature of end-of-semester stuff is why I haven't posted anything lately (though I have been lurking). The semester ends in two weeks here so hopefully I'll have some free time to contribute again. I have to say I'm enjoying the ad hoc nature of the War thread; feels like old times. Oh, and congrats to Brit on the upcoming nuptials

Not yet, Ace. Still exhausted. We've had My's (Di Bat Pho's) parents out for a few weeks now. My Nan, Aunt and Uncle from Scotlan arrived on Sunday. My other Nan from Tweed Heads (New South Wales/Queensland boarder) arrived yesterday. My's sister, flew in from Vietnam today. And My's cousin from Taiwan flies in this Friday and flies back again Tuesday ![[eh?]](images/icons/confused.gif) In the meantime, I have to play Santa later today (it's 1.12am Thursday 11th Dec) - and it's my last day at work. So... 2 days... 7 hours... 17 minutes... and falling!

Word of advice to everyone. Don't do two wedding ceremonies on the same day. But it was nerve wracking and strangely fun at the same time. And extrememly exhausting. It is now 11.21pm on Saturday night. My and I were up at 4.30am. My looked absolutely stunning! ![[humina humina]](graemlins/love.gif) Most frustrating thing was photos. Couldn't organise anyone to do a quick group shot when we wanted one, but everyone wanted individual shots with us later on. ![[yuh huh]](images/icons/rolleyes.gif) Speaking of photos, a friend has already downloaded photos from his digital camera, so I should have some wedding pics up in the next couple of days.
