Hi D0gg, As Britannica (the character) is taking a break from the main adventure in JLR vs the CSF!, I introduced Transneapolitan as a substitute. Like Chessmaster, he'll probably be leaving at the end of CSF though. Probably to join the ranks of reservists that get called up in times of crisis. So feel free to use him as you will. But, please... be gentle...  BTW... You've been posting quite a bit lately. Is everything OK?

I've intro'd Spandex Monkey Man into JLR vs. CSF, but I've left what's happened to Alex open-ended as it looks like some people might have soem good ideas there. Please have a look at my post and tell me what you think.
Oh, and what's going on in JLR War at the moment? I was thinking of posting to that but I can't get on.

ah fuck it then. I had an idea, but it would effectively turn the character around and put you in a position you probably don't want to be in.
anyways, yeah. everythings been super. That's why I can tell sorta funny slapstick stories. The problem is when I'm not in a good mood, like I've been the last couple days, so I'm writing my other short story that I'm working on. No clue when part 4 is gonna come out for my airport adventure, hopefully by the end of the week or early next week.

I think Struwwelpeter's powers could very well be along those lines, though. Maybe he has the uncanny ability to cause others to become filthy with grime and dust, and for their hair to grow long and shaggy and their nails to grow long and curled, though he doesn't affect anyone unless he wills it himself (or his teammates wouldn't want him around at all). And he must speak with a pseudo German accent for the full effect.

While the RKMB was down, I took the liberty of contacting all of the potential recruitees, to advise them not to look for us while the boards were down.
I hve finally just got around to recontacting them again, letting them know the boards are up again and to come on over.
I have also contacted two extra people:

Let's see what happens...
I'm going to let Starsky_Hutch76 know about this place too, if you don't mind. You might be interested to know that he was involved with a group somewhat similar to the JLR called the Monkey Alliance. They fought such stalwart villains as David Hasselhof, Ted McGinley, and Gary Degaton (Per Degaton's loser son).

Actually, Starsky dropped by just under a year ago, just after we announced the winners of last year's Starsky_Hutch awards. He got a screen name and everything and just... disappeared. Brit misses him terribly  .

With our former DCMB colleagues, we left their fate ambiguous.
dun_like_dinner dissapeared in The Convention Adventure and was revelaed to be the god of janitors in War.
La Machine stopped posting proper in The Convention Adventure too, but made a post early on in CSF, so it has been established that he is concentrating on promoting his JLR sports-wear range. And of course his duplicate Vegi-La forms are running around with CSF at the moment.
CJ will probably mysteriously disappear towards the end of this adventure. You never know, CJ will probably be a handy catalyst for a future JLR/Vanguard cross-over.
Personally I think if a poster disappears, their character ends up in JLR limbo. Otherwise, I think it is up to the individual to kill off their own characters.
With Transneapolitan, I only brought him in, because the JLR were down on numbers (poster and character wise), plus I was thinking of writing Brit out of the JLR. That is no longer the case, with your good self, D0gg, Nuriko, Bapman & TTT joining in and Brian coming back into the fold.
I still think Trans should leave at the end of CSF, but as I said he will probably hang-on as a reserve member, so I'm sure he will pop-up from time-to-time, as we see fit.

Everyone writes everyone's character, so there really isn't any taking over of characters unless you take that character as a screenname. I, for one, have written entire posts where Wednesday has only a line or two or none at all. I prefer it, actually. Nothing wrong with centering your posts over another character; do so as much as you like with any character you like. Whatever keeps the story going.
The only unwritten rule is that we keep all JLR members in character, though that rule gets violated every now and then (see also Chant) .

uh...Wednesday...you made me way too powerful. But that's my fault; looking back, my contribution left a lot to be desired.
What I actually did was downgrade my powers. Now my character is essentially a metahuman "strike without being seen" character fortified by telepathy, teleportation, and my female attraction abilities (which are latent, so I can't really control them). Other than that, great stuff.

Well, one of us had to figure it out . Chessmaster is sorta Chant's character. He said a while back that he was gonna make a bio for the character, but I guess he hasn't had the chance yet. Just colored in a few BLINKS and a POP to make them easier to read. Hopefully, it'll help segregate thing and help people figure out what's what.
