Does anyone here have the *amazing* super-power of summarizing? Even though I've read all the posts in the story, I still get a bit lost with what's happened so far. Maybe a summary of between 150 to 250 words could help?
I'd do it myself, but my brain is fried by the end of the week. We had midterms, too, which made things worse. Oy vey...
After receiving a call asking them to defeat a team called the Crime Society of Fiction (this group is comprised of powerful villains from fiction), the JLR arrived in Big City, only to find a monstrous Vegi-La wreaking havoc. Realizing their numbers weren't enough, the heroes held a membership drive and inducted five new members: Hybrid, Fused, Centurian, Chessmaster, Transneapolitan. Before they could train, though, Vegi-La attacked while the CSF observed in the shadows. In the end, the JLR discovered this Vegi-La was only an off-shoot of the original’s regenerative powers and that the CSF had kidnapped Centurian during the battle.
The JLR split up to search for Centurian. Ace and Wednesday met SpandexMonkeyMan, and encountered timeblinks (sporadic time jumps caused by the CSF’s presence in the real world). The JLR regrouped and boarded Spandex's MLU. The Time Trust appeared and offered his assistance, but just as they gained another hero, the JLR lost Cowgirl Jack in a timeblink. Then, the team encountered the Umber Hulk, a powerful monster who had magically replaced Centurian and was rampaging through the city, but a plan by Britannica trapped it in an underground tunnel. After entering the dark tunnel, though, the JLR found themselves sandwiched between the monster and two CSF teams: the first comprised of Professor Moriarty, who presently holds Centurian's magic die, Lucius Malfoy, Francicso Scaramanga, Spring-Heeled Jack, Grendel, Terminatrix, the Wolfman, and Agent Smith; the second team consists of John Sunlight, Captain Hook, Callisto, and the winged monkeys from Oz.
