You know, I don't remember where War really came in. It was kinda on the side, though, and was more of a besides story until CA was done.
As far as the vacation thing goes, I guess it would depend on the vacation time. I mean, if it's a week or a month, then there's no reason to cut the character out. If a person is gonna be gone for six months or something, though, or a person HAS been gone for a while, I think they should be put on hold or simply put into the background for a while.
I mean, we can always have a character injured or captured during an adventure until they write themselves out. Of course, we'd need more than a four line post for that.

I like Rock of the World, actually. Especially when you consider that that gives us shiteloads of villains to get killed by.
One things bothers me, though. Technically, Brit's our leader, and as such shouldn't we okay things with him, first? I mean, I'm for Wednesday's plan, but Brit's sorta our leader

I think that lineup would make for an interesting team dynamic. I actually thought about adding Alice and Beatrice as villains turned heroes since I like those characters so much (and they're giiirls) but I think seven members is enough.

Pardon me for my stupidity, but who are Alice and Beatrice? And why should we keep Cent on? Understand that this is no criticism, merely a question as to why we are keeping a character around when:
A) He's not be seen on the RKMBs for ages
 His main character interaction was with CJ, also gone
C) He was never that interesting anyway
And what's wrong with Spandex's power level?

Well, that's actually more our fault than his. That was done to give CJ's character some use in the story. Until then, she was just kinda... there. I think his future interactions with the more senior members of the team, as well as Jade, will prove interesting.

I beg to differ. I think he's one of the most interesting characters we have. Power wise his potential is up there, but with a very interesting set of limitations that keep him grounded. Now, we have other characters with variable powers, but they have limits.

Plus, I have always been careful to limit his power level to avoid the problem that characters like the original (young) and SMM present. Of course, he wasn't a member of the JLR at the time (he was a temporary villain) and it happened under specific circumstances that would be difficult to replicate. And his power level was eventually brought back down to normal levels.
Incidentally, we powered down (young) in that story, as well, and his character has worked better ever since.

The only one who is consistently powerful is Chant  And even then, that's rather sporadic, weird, chaotic and downright strange as it should be! The current powerlvl he enjoys is only temporary!

her powers are pretty awesome, actually, near God-like, but there's a reason for that which you will all know in due time. Besides, she's only a character for the next story, unless people like her that is

Actually, yeah, that is a point. And Now you've explained about Cent, I'm cool with that, too.
Here's how I plan to handle Spandex's power. First of all, there's now a power cap, so he can only steal so many powers of a certain level. Essentially, this boils down now to Islington's awesome angelic abilities and his flight and illusions from the Skull. His atomic explosions will be disposed of, and Dr Dredz will be killed off anyway 'cos she's boring.

I don't think I explained it very well. He CAN Steal powers, but he can't steal any more at the moment. Essentially, until he reactivates Islington or TSOD he can't steal any more powers.

She can heal people and all that stuff...

As I said, she has near god-like powers, but there's a limit as to when she can use that power and on who!
