And that reminds me, has there been any sign of D0GG of late? I saw Fused online just a while ago, but no sign of our super soaker armed companion.

Happy 2nd Anniversary JLR!

Okay, since this is our second anniversary, attempts to reach Brit through e-mail and his wife have failed, and I'm still a mod somehow for an indefinite period of time, I guess I should get the ball rolling on these awards now. I was gonna wait till after Vanguard was done with their awards, but we're on a schedule, people!

Anywho, we'll work it this way (unless anyone is opposed). Everyone who is a member (past or present) of the JLR will have an opportunity over the next 3 days to send me their nominations (categories and rules listed below). After that, I'll set up the poll and everyone who wants to will have an opportunity to vote. Cool?

Here are the categories and stuff:

Favorite JLR Story

There won't be nominations since the list is short, but this will include all JLR stories and JLR related stories over the last year.

- JLR War
- The JLR presents...D0GG at the airport
- JLR: The Wedding
- The JLR presents...D0GG somewhere in the Mid-west

JLR vs the CSF! and The Return of Chant won't be eligible (unless a number of JLR members ask for it) since they're not complete. JLR: The Convention Adventure was completed before the nomination were due for the last S-H Awards, so it will not be eligible this year.

Favorite Character (Main)

This pretty much includes any character that is a story version of a writer. Nominate any 2 characters you'd like

Now this can include any string of posts that comprise a scene. Anything from JLR vs. Vegi-La to the ending of JLR War to deciding who Brit's best man will be can be nominated. This is the toughest one to nominate for, I think, and the fact that I'm gonna ask you to be very specific isn't going to help. Basically, tell me from what post to what post. This requires reading on all our parts.

Well, I'm having difficulty deciding on my favourite scene/battle and favourite single post. And I've become involved with Toughened Glass as well, so I've not been around as much as I would like. But hey, I'm here now

God, I'm bored. Boredy boredy boreditty bored. Maybe we should kick off Weapons of Mass Confusion now, huh?

Or finish off this story . I gotta admit, though, with each post to it, it becomes harder for me to jump into it (and I really wanna).

I really haven't read any of the other JLR stories when I jumped into the CSF adventure. I kinda just went in blind and figured if I fucked it up I'd just get kicked out or something. So the only posts I know of are the ones in the CSF adventure.

who's left on the team in the current story?

Well, D0GG and Wednesday, obviously. I think there's still a few TTTs left, and Nuriko and Tommy are still left as far as I remember, but best just double-check. Spandex is around (With Angel and Illusion powers), Chessmaster, Ace and RM552 have yet to go and I think Hybrid is there. Check the bios page to double-check the membership.

Oh, yeah, there's Spectre too, but I don't remember where he is

Oh, and I'm thinking of starting Weapons of Mass Confusion now, to give us something to do whilst we generate ideas for CSF. I tend to find I come up with my best ideas whilst there's something to do, so I think we should start Weapons as a mean of getting back into the flow.

By the way, should we bring Brit in for this story? I think we can presume that he'll be back when he's recovered, so it would be fair to let him know that he can jump in.

You're too new to remember what he's done in the past, but he's earned the right to have his character continue despite his absense as far as I'm concerned.

Hey, Brit got me here, and I'll always respect what he's done. Let's bring him along. How about my suggestion for kicking off WoMC now, though?
