I could see them having a relationship. Of course the doctor (can't remember her name) has had an obsession with him, and she seems like the kind of woman he would go for.

I liked in the previous episode how she came to the restaurant and said this was a "professional dinner" while her boobs were about to fall out!

I think they both have a genuine interest in each other, but maybe for the wrong reasons.

I hear you. She's all hot for him. I buy that. It was kind of obvious. But his interest in her has to be more than him being lonely. He's Sloan.

He probably wants to know about Jack and Sydney.

You know, when all is said and done I bet it'll turn out that, yes Sloane and Irina had an affair and a child resulted. But that child will probably not be Sydney, she'll probably have a sister somewhere.

I've been thinking that they're going to have a flashback episode where Jack, Irina, Sloan and possibly Vaughn's dad are all young and were going to find out more than we expected.

If Sydney has a brother or sister it will probably be someone on the show now.

Now if Sarks her brother, wow, that would be mind-blowing.

Or, is Barnett playing spy for Jack?

Barnett and Sloane, still haven't figured that out.

Dixson went Jack on Sloane. WOO! Course Jack's the only one that can pull that off.

Irina's name on the box, I wasn't expecting that and literally gasped when I saw it.

LOVED the scene with Jack and Syd at the end where she told Sark to put the colar on her and Jack protested but she inisted. Then that awesome moment when he took it off.

Question though, since my vcr had issues the last couples times I tried taping something, I didn't try tonight, so was Marshall able to pick up the other person's voice from that call Sark was on on the plane? Because Jack got that look at the end when he heard the slut tell Vaughn she loved him at the very end.

Can't wait until next week.

Yeah, cool episode. First thing I thought when I saw that box was Hellraiser, heh. Nope, Marshall didn't pick up the voice. As for Jack's look, it was in response to Lauren ending her sentence to Vaughn by calling him "love." That was exactly how Sark was talking and so I think Jack has begun putting two and two together. I got it TiVo'd so I'll probably check it out a couple more times.

Thanks. According to someone on the LJ Alias community, she said the same thing Sark said, word for word, and that's what nailed her. hehehe I love Jack, he's so awesome.

And here's my mom, when are they going to catch her (Lauren) already? I think she hates Lauren almost as much as she hates Freplica. She can't stand Freplica one bit, it's funny listening to her get frustrated about that. lol

The thing both Lauren and Sark said was "not if I see you first"

I saw the episode twice.



I tape every episode, so if anyone has a question I can probably answer it.

and I also think this was one of the best for this season.

I predict that Lauren will end up sacrificing herself for Vaughn or Sydney soon, possibly the next episode.

Wha!?

Why would Lauren sacrifice herself herself for Sydney? I think she would take great pleasure in killing Sydney herself. And Vaughn? She clearly wants him dead.


What I can't figure out is how Sloan factors in to any of this. The only thing we know is that he doesn't want any harm to come to Sydney. But, he is still obsessed with Rembaldi (however it's spelled), and that explains why he was causing problems with Irina, who is also obsessed with his work. There is a much larger picture going on here.

And didn't Jack, or someone, come across evidence that Irina somehow knew, or came into contact with Sydney while she was Julia? I doubt Sydney told Kendall everything. And I'm sure she doesn't remember this, because Kendall couldn't brief her on it.

I guess the real question is who is behind the Covenant? Is it Irina? Is it actually Sloan? Has it been Sloan all along? Was he pretending to have the his Covenant come after him, demanding his cooperation so that he would have a legitimate reason to interact with them?

If this is the case, then I can see Lauren sacrificing herself for Sloan, b/c I think she knows what's going on.

As for the possibility of Sark being Irina's son, do we know how old he is? Is he enough years younger than Sydney for this to work?

Or, is he perhaps Katya's son? Just playing with the "everyone's related angle."


Oh, one more very BIG thing: The name on the artifact makes sense.

Remember back in season 1, when the government was going to lock Sydney away b/c the prophesy lead them to believe that she was a threat? And remember how it said that if the woman who has those marks, etc., were to see the beauty of the sunrise atop that mountain, then she would not be the one the prophesy was referring to? And remember how that lead Sydney to believe that her mother could have pulled off what she did under water, and how she could be alive, and how the prophesy was probably referring to her?

And, in this season, it was revealed that Rembaldi saved his DNA to be used with the woman in the prophesy to give birth to a son. But, Sydney can't be that woman. And everyone who knows this seems to have become distracted by the harvesting of Sydney's eggs.

So, I think that's why Irina's name is on the box.


There is something else we are missing. Does anyone remember exactly what was Sloan was told as to why he was the one destined to find Rembaldi's work? And why he became obessesed with it? And all that? What exactly was said at that time, by him, and by the man who put him on that path?

I know we are missing something, and I think the pieces we need are lost somewhere in the details.

I just see Lauren realizing she's on the wrong side and wanting to do the right thing. She did feel sorry for Dixon in the last episode.

I see Sloan as kind of the Emperor of the Alias universe. He is secretly controlling and manipulating everyone to his advantage. He most likely the head of the covenant. He could still be trying to get the Rambaldi device. Remember at the beginning of this season he said something about how Jack should trust how seriously he gets into his obsessions. (I really mangled that quote!)

Yeah, I agree. Sloane has to be up to so much more. Who knows what Conrad (the monk) told him. We know it was stuff that was coming up, future stuff. In one of the deleted scenes in Season 2 it show him having a conversation with Iriana after coming back from seeing Conrad. In it he knew she was going to betray him and he was hinting at big things happing.

Although at the same time, it seems kind of odd to have the season out on DVD right after it's aired. I guess I'm just used to the old days when we never saw our shows on vhs, much less laser disc.

I just got my little sister addicted. She's been watching the season 1 dvds all day! I keep asking her things like "has Sloan died yet". She is really starting to hate me.

It drives my friend nuts that he can't watch the new episodes yet. He just finished season 1.

Season one and two were so good!
Just watched the episode where Will goes to Lompoc prison.
I used to live in Lompoc and always get a laugh when its mentioned.

Why are they showing tonights episode at ten?
Does anyone care about the dumb and dumber variety show?

That's right, I forgot they're showing it at a different time. So is that 10 Est? If so then I'll be good here, at 10. Just need to remember to set the vcr in case it takes me longer ot get home, which I doubt.

Its a hour later in every time zone.Its on when the practice is usually on.

I wonder if this one is extra violent or something?

Nope. It's just the dumb suits at ABC using the regular time slot for some crappy new show that no one will watch. That, and since they killed The Practice last year, they want to make it two for two Sunday night, and kill Alias also.

I think this time change is a 1 time deal. I haven't seen or heard anything about it being permanent.

Jennifer Garner is on Leno tonight.

Today is Jennifer Garner's birthday. She's 32.

I KNEW IT! I knew Jack was going to do that at the end.

I think his best line tonight was that one about what Sloane did to Syd being nothing compared to what he'll do to his (Sloane's) daughter. WOO!

How many times is Jack going to do that?
