Thank you. :)

About the gal, I was referring to the pilot introduced by Chewy. There was a female pilot, right?

I don't think she's a pilot, per se (although she can certainly fly the company plane), but she's intended to be the team's maintenance person.

Unless I missed something in Chewy's posts or during a chat, I think that character's name is Charley, and HE has yet to make it to the island.

Unless, of course, Chewy, you've changed your mind and want to make him a her.

SHE was always supposed to be a HER but the characters were not supposed to know that until meeting her.

Well, thanks for ruining my fun, guys...

...geez, you tell one person something and all of a sudden, EVERYONE knows...

At any rate, the maintenance "man" that Grissom is expecting (Charley - short for Charlene) is, in fact, a woman, but I've intentionally kept this vague in order to surprise you all.

...but you ruined it...

...I hope you're all pleased with yourselves...

At any rate, she'll be along probably next issue, as her chopper would naturally be detained in Florida as soon as the rains started hitting La Perdita. And, no, she's not a pilot, nor would I make her one, as Grissom is already a pilot (remember, he flew his own jet into the La Perdita airport).

So... yeah...

...that's all I've gotta say...

Sorry, I thought everyone knew. I was the one who suggested her creation, but I remember that a few people in the chat room when we discussed it -- unfortunately, I can't keep track of who knew and who didn't...

Sorry Chewy, but I'm sure I have heard about HER both in chats and talk threads.

If it was to be a surprise, it would have been for a very few persons. [sad]

Doesn't matter. If it was to be a surprise to Mxy and Gooz and Danny, that's three people at least. Plus, unless one of you told Cap'n, I don't think he knew either...

...'cuz I'm pretty sure I didn't tell him...

...or maybe I did...

...eh, I don't really care anymore...

I know at least Grimm knew, since he was there when we were first discussing this new character.

I knew. I was there, with TTT and Chewy, and did in fact, suggest the name . . .it should be obvious that I knew from my post on the last page. [yuh huh]

Like I said, "Unless I missed something." Apparently I did. Everytime Chewy mentioned it in a chat when I was present or in a post he made it sound like it was going to be a guy. So I had no idea Charley was female; and it would have been a surprise to me. It really doesn't make a difference since Dirk wouldn't give a damn one way or the other.

Well, Chewy, you fooled me at least. [you sunnuva...] [biiiig grin]

I didn't know.

But, I knew that Grimm didn't know, and, in not knowing, didn't know that Danny knew.

But, wait. He didn't.

Danny knew that he didn't know that Grimm knew that he didn't know, before knowing that Mxy knew.

So, if Mxy didn't know, then Doc must have known. Unless he knew that knowing was not what he knew.

Ya' know?

I think Phil is gonna have to get separated from the others during the rescue process. Something big's gonna happen. If any of you need him around to do anything else, have him do it pretty quick; as soon as I get back to school tomorrow afternoon, he's taking off.

I take sincere pride in the idea that you think I actually put effort into anything. Grimm should know better, either way.

I would say that I miss this chaos.

But, I won't. [biiiig grin]

BUT, like TTT pointed out, I am hungry for an adventure story, because from the time Pro and TTT worked out the concept, we never had a true one.
From the 'Credit where credit is due' Department:

I would like to point out, in no uncertain terms, that the only contributions I have made to this Hero Revolution Universe, and the creation therein, are the obvious characters (The Order, Turkish, etc.), a suggestion for the dead volcanoe on the island, and the idea that we, as writers, should do something more than just superhero fanfare (through, as mentioned, my once-a-month rants).

Nothing bad or good about this. Just didn't want any misinformation growing out of hand. Thanks. :)
