Gooz, I have absolutely no idea where you were going with "MBL: Nightfall," but it looked like the story was abandoned for a while, so I figured I'd restart it and explain that it's set in the future in the year 2025, where the MBL is a dictatorial "peacekeeping force" in the world.
This is intended to be A future of the Messageverse, but not necessarily THE future, so anyone who's still alive at the end of the last MBL story can appear, albeit 24 years older. It would be interesting to see who's running the MBL now that it's "keeping the world safe for democracy" at the expense of individual freedoms. It's sort of based, as I see it, on the fears that the current anti-terrorism legislation being brought up in many countries could lead and is leading to a reduction of personal freedoms which could end up in a "Big Brother"-type one-world government.
Of course, if you had your own plans for this, Gooz, I'd be happy to delete my post and create my own future MBL thread.
