Of the above characters, I, myself, am writing Dr. Walker, I.G.O.R., Tweed, Owens, Reynolds, and Dr. Curie. Avatar is writing Lochlan, Gooz is writing Turner, Eurostar is writing Eurostar (natch), and Disco Steve is writing Richards.

As a dynamic, the EPS is a never-before-attempted concept in our little RPG. They are very Machievellian and, ideally, are neither villainous nor heroic. They serve their own purposes, which tend to always be those of their leader, Dr. Walker. However, the membership is totally divided as it is a structure based solely on mistrust, grudges, deceit, and hurt feelings. And the best part of it all... it seems to work.

For now...

The abilities of the EPS are as follows:

Dr. Walker ~ A closet metahuman. Former metagene researcher. Leader of the EPS. Wears grey. He hates metas, but is one. As such, he refuses to use whatever power it is that he has...

Tweed ~ A former Chigago mob boss. Wears white. His abilities include invisibility and intangibility. Seems fairly adept at following orders.

Owens ~ Former prostitute. Wears green. Empath and minor telepath. She is capable of manipulating human emotions to suit her own purposes. Currently, she is forcing the unsuspecting Eurostar to love her in order to tie him to the EPS.

Reynolds ~ A former street thug of questionable ethnicity. Wears blue and carries a gun. He can light his skin, almost like a lightbulb, which often causes temporary blindness to those standing nearby (depending on the intensity used). Feels that the EPS is like a new gang.

I.G.O.R.[b] ~ He's a robot. He runs the headquarters. No powers. That's it.

[b]Lochlan ~ Elemental metahuman. Current EPS field leader (or his own demand). Wears black. Freakishly elaborate metagene allows for control of the Earth's elements. The vastness of his ability, however, remains untapped.

Turner ~ A clone. Designed to be the "perfect" metahuman. Wears red. Abilities include telekinesis and energy expulsion, though other powers are likely still unseen or unrealized.

Curie ~ Former metagene researcher. Colleague of Dr. Walker. Fugitive from Dr. Knell. Wears orange. Is a normal human with no metagenetic abilities. Resides with the EPS for the security.

Cicciotto ~ Former athlete and revolutionary. Wears brown. Formerly changing his body into anything elemental. However, he has recently resumed his old metahuman body, which allows for density control, flgiht, invisibility, intangibility, and superhuman speed.

Richards ~ Wears purple. Mysterious katana activates his metagene, giving him the abilities of enhanced speed, agility, senses, reflexes, and other skills.

And now Mxy, with the good old almost unused Anti-Revolutionaries (I'd like to call em The Evolutionaries, if there was a good reason for that):

Mr Mysteriously Mysterious Mystery Guy (no name yet) - Just a guy that likes going around offering powerful villains to join his team... In other words, nothing about him has been revealed yet. Not even a freaking name.
MOTIVES: Unknown...

Dr Knell, a.k.a. Dr Klone - A former scientist, current Reptile-looking thing mutated by the blood of Eurostar's snake-headed clone. See, he was studying Snake Headed Clone when Turner (before joining the EPS and right after learning he was a clone) walked in a injected him with SHC's blood, so he mutated. Or something like that. I can't remember.
MOTIVES: Wants to kill Eurostar. Now that Eurostar is "dead", he's just staying with the gang because he wants to be part of the mysterious plan the mysterious leader has. Yeah well, couldn't think of anything else to make him stay there...

Mr Ktl - Mxy's evil half. Mxy split in two beings when he came to this dimension. One good that wants to save the world, one bad that just wants to kill his other half. He is currently using the body of Eduardo Frederico, a metahuman that used to be Eurostar's rival when they were both athletes.
MOTIVES: Kick Mxy's ass.

The Scorpion Brothers (Blue Scorpion and Red Scorpion - Two powerful armored brothers from Mandelovia. They talk like melodramatic cartoon villains (thanks to me) and hate each other's guts.
MOTIVES: Get back at those pesky Revolutionaries for kicking their arse in Mandelovia.

Tell you what. I'll just focus on the "mbl" themselves, and let you guys do the work with the rest of the universe.

One down, one to go. There's Curie's rebellion post, with an ending that hit me as I was writing. Lemme know what you all think. All I have yet to write is Tweed, which shouldn't be too hard. I'll conclude the 'revolution' for good next weekend (at the latest), so Disco and Avatar... if you're gonna write something, do it before then, please. If not, I'll include something about it in my final post of the 'revolution'...

Dear Gob we have a lot of characters. That's pretty messed up.

Me, I write one. Two, if you count Hal. Here's a short bio...

Danny Hearn.
He comes from the future. He was exploring a small town near Mandeloviain 2083 when he stumbled across the secret lab of a Dr John Feldman. Feldman took him captive, and experimented on Danny with his new procedure... introducing biologically engineered microbes into the blood that can alter the body rapidly.
Feldman also inserted Hal into Danny's brain. Hal was formerly Feldman's lab assistant, who Feldman then killed. He cut up Hal's brain, and inserted it into Danny's head. Hal was used to store the information that the microbes need to work; namely, the exact details of the DNA strands of thousands of animals. So Danny tells Hal an animal part, and Hal sends the relevant DNA info into Danny's bloodstream, and within seconds that part is grown. So he can only do real animals, not mythical.
At one point, unknown forces attacked Feldman's lab. To escape the crossfire, Danny crawled into an experimental time machine. The machine then malfunctioned and sent Danny back to the year 2001. He hooked up with he Revolutionaries and has been with them ever since.

If this had been a comic, I would have loved to see the team in their Frog incarnations.

The "Voice" in the Traveler feels somewhat like the voice that used to guide the Spectre years back.

The EPS would drop in a second if the Revolutionaries were frogs, let me tell ya...

I think the best way to end the current story would be to have the Revolutionaries return home and see the Chicago events happening on TV. At the start of the next story, Kristogar will be in Chicago, and I'm going to introduce more of my own supporting cast just to throw Prometheus way off( ). I think it would make sense for the rest of the team to see if there's anything they could do, as well.

I think I'm going to open up a seperate talk thread for The Traveler. I gots some big, big plans for that little thing.

Eh... I don't think the "IBG" is such a great idea. We're just starting to get away from everything in the old universe and make this one a completely new entity. If we pull too much from our old stories and whatnot, we'll find ourselves making the same mistakes, doing the same things, and not being original. Who says that teams even need to have names anyway? We, as posters, could simply call them "the Rogues Gallery," but just have them be 'old foes' as far as the story goes...

But, this is just my two cents worth...

So... I think it's time to wrap up this story. If anyone has something to add to this story, add it now. And please feel free to use Kit Piper or Dr. Quantos in the story as well. They are characters not intended to be controlled by any one person here, since they're supporting cast members of the entire group. Just write them in character as I've written them already.

Oh, and I think this talk thread should be finished at the same time as the story.
