And the truth is, TTT the android/timemaster is probably THE MOST ripped-off character I've ever written. He was influenced by everyone from Star Trek's Data and Hourman (Ty) to Green Lantern Hal Jordan and the GLC. Unfortunately, I found him hard to keep fresh after writing that character so long that I abandoned him several times, and now he's no longer a main character but only a bit player.

I still haven't found my niche with Pete, but I'm hoping this story may help with that a bit.

Don't you mean that he should rub it in that he has a creative brain?

I wonder if the Hero Revolution and EPS posts should be separated to different threads. As it is, they don't seem to connect to each other in any way at all, and don't really add much to each other because of it.

I understand the idea of sub-plots, but the EPS "sub-plot" is sometimes as active as the main HR plot, which can be distracting.

What does everyone think? Your opinion and mine will, of course, be flavoured by how much involvement, if any, we have in either group.

Heh, that was nothing. You should go back and read some of the actual Avatar stuff from TOMB days. I had written a character no one else really knew what to do with, so I basically just found myself jumping in to write my own fight scenes. (if I didn't do that I never would have been included in any stories )

My two personal favorites:
1)Avatar vs. Foreman...I liked writing someone who could be as big of a jerk as me
2)End of the MBL thread, I think Av got up to about 460 some dead in that post...sure an obvious rip-off of Elric of Melnibone, but just see TTT's post above for the explantion

I always thought that the two would separate into different threads a la TOMB and MBL one day. The only problem I see from this is that as the gray area (contrary to what Euro would have you believe), the EPS needs a bit to feed off of or they become just another hero team.

P.S. I know the EPS has seemed rather evil as of late, and I talked with Chewy about this...we're trying to work out something to walk ourselves back to the fine line between abject terrorism and pompous altruism.

About the EPS, I don't think they should be separated into different threads.

I know that in this particular story, the EPS part is taking much space at last as the HR part, but usually they appear very seldom.

Also, creating different threads, miniseries, solo stories and such is what has sunken the old Universe, so I wouldn't want to see it happening again.

And, the EPS will survive only until the day the Revolutionaries will put an end to their evil machinations.

Ehy, ehy, I was joking....

Amen brutha! And I will find a way to beat you without "cheating" one of these days. (for clarification I'm imagining that the way Lochlan beat Turner when they first met was that Cole strategically shorted IGOR out, hence turning him back upon Turner.

That could have been a good start towards beating Turner, but I don't think that would have stopped him. But the info that Walker and Tweed found on how Turner was build could have def been used to "turn off" his powers durning the fight, leaving him as an open target for Cole (and cheap shots would follow).

TTT, great job with the roll call!!!

I guess you can add another "section" to the roll call list (or add these to supporting cast)...

Islanders
Michelle Campbell (Sam's Ex, American)
Clark Thomas (Sam's old best friend, Native/Darker Skin)
Ma Kalunga (Herb shop owner, ?)
Flower (Young girl at Herb Shop, ?)
Juanito, Pedro and Manito (Three Brothers, Natives)

Well, I really only wanted to include the "honorary members" of the group, like those who hang around with the group, like Shirly and Li'l Jo, or have a certain function in the group, like Quantos and Piper, not necessarily every single character who appears in the story, especially since all the people you named weren't introduced until later in the story. Maybe the more important ones can be listed at the beginning of the next story.
