In a great tradition, let's talk about the cool movie they are about to release featuring the New Universe.

Eurostar will be played by Nicholas Cage. He is the only one with the needed sad face.

Billy Crystal for Mr Mxy!

He doesn't look like Mxy, but I love Billy Crystal.

I think that seeing Johnny Depp in the position of Avatar would be great. I was very impressed by his work in The Ninth Gate and Sleepy Hollow.

That must be revisited....

What the--!? What? Hey! I was going to have Dolph Lundgren play Kristofer Schanz! In fact, Schanz was created with Dolph Lundgren in mind (who is a first-rate genius in chemistry as well as a top athlete -- lousy actor, though...), and even had Schanz working for Lundgren Chemicals.

But hey, I have no problem with the same actor playing two different roles. He'll be wearing make-up as Naecken anyways, and Schanz is dead...

Y'know, I think that really fits your character.

Now, I can't think of anyone at the moment for Dr. Henry Quantos or Pete 'the Chimp' Glover just yet. The first actor has to be in his 50s or early 60s and have white hair, while the second has to be a fairly homely 4'11" short, skinny actor who looks like he could blend in with the street folk... or at least be able to mingle with a few circus midgets (although he isn't a midget himself, just short)...

Hmmm... waitasecond... short'n'homely? I've got it!

Pete 'the Chimp' Glover shall be played by none other than Rob Kamphausen!!!

Actually, nah, Rob probably couldn't get the Newfie accent right...

Newfie, for all you non-Canadians out there, is how people of Newfoundland speak. It's the Canadian equivalent of Cockney...

Pete "The Chimp" Glover - Gary Coleman (Diff'rent Strokes, The Gary Coleman Show); Gary is about 4'8" and would, in my mind, be the perfect person to play a snivelling little hobo, and I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for him to play a rich overnight ego-maniac.

Dr. Henry Quantos - James Cromwell (The Green Mile, Star Trek: First Contact); James has proven, through roles in Babe and The Green Mile that he is great at accent work (in case he needs one for Quantos) and fits the description that TTT gave. His versatility as an actor has been proven time and again as I think he'd be great as the wise Malvan-X doctor.

Gary Coleman? GARY COLEMAN?!? Not quite what I pictured for ol' Pete, but diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks and all...

James Cromwell isn't bad, although he isn't quite what I picture when I write Doc Quantos. He may grow on me, however. (BTW, Doc Quantos has about the same accent as Cromwell would have -- just a typical North American one. I almost said that he has no accent whatsoever, but Danny or Nowhereman might take exception to that... )

Correct!

Americans have a silly accent, just as everyone else does!

Based on the pic of Monkey's Paw (Pete 'the Chimp' Glover) I did on the DC Message Board League club (it's in the Hero Revolution: Animated Series folder), which actor could possibly play this role? No Hollywood "pretty boys" need apply...

You could use Justin Long (Jeepers Creepers) for the part, just add some extra hair on his arms/legs and use effects to make his hands and feet bigger.

Justin Long? Nah, he's too young and pretty-boy. I'll need an actor who's about five feet tall and in his mid-30s at least. I'd also prefer a Scottish or Irish actor to play him rather than an American.

What about John Leguizamo? I know he's American, but he's most certainly versatile enough to play Monkey's Paw (accent and all) and, with a little bit of CGI effects, he could assuredly pull off a good greasy midget (remember, this is the guy that played Clown in Spawn).

Hey, waitasecond... this sounds like a job for Rob Kamphausen! Oh, wait, I already did that joke...

Just read in one of the threads that he used to be an acrobat, so Park might actually get to do something. Of course, he's nine inches taller than your request . . .

Warwick Davis is also a possibility, but he may be too short for your tastes at 3 1/2 feet tall.
