Thanks, Eurostar. Fluffy or no Fluffy? What does everybody else think? We had a lot of fun with Fluffy in the old TOMB stories, but would a talking dog work in a revolution?

You could make Fluffy a meta-dog with the power of talking! Or a meta-human with the power of looking like a dog...

LLance, I'm very sorry for your loss too. As for Fluffy, I say we could use the old dog around the new apartment (as long as he is potty trained, heh)

I'm not too sure about the talking thing, but that's just me. I think the New Universe should be a bit more realistic than the last one, which, I would say, means no talking pets. Not that I wanna poo-poo anyone's ideas. This is only my opinion. I am, however, willing to go with the majority on this...

There is one way of doing a talking dog interesting. It could be a woman who has had her brain transplanted into the dog...and would be a great topic for a story later as we free slaves from a evil doctor on the island doing illegal brain experiments.

Yeah, since it is an answer to a question that regards the destruction of the EPS! Just kidding!

Gang, for better or worse, Fluffy has already arrived. I saw Chewy's comment about keeping things realistic, and to be honest, I was preparing to do some surreal things. So...I'm kind of stuck in a writing limbo. Should I stretch the confines of our realistic perimeters or should I back off with my farfetched ideas? I do remember there was a concensus to get realistic when we first arrived here. Let me give you a synopsis of what's running through my brain. Fluffy and LLance are actually aliens trapped in the earthly shells of a young man and a dog. Or they are actually fun loving demons from Hell who maybe were suppose to be Heavenly angels but there was a mix-up in purgatory. Fluffy gains control of the group. Decides to conquer the castle and use as the group's base to either launch an attack on/or rescue endangered members of a Pantheon known in mystical circles as "the Nature Boys"! This would lead the group in a new direction that could last for one storyline or could become the group's motivation for the forseeable future. Think about it...we'd be battling or saving the likes of 1st National Bastard, BSAMS, Franta, Roy Batty, Butterrican, etc. Anyway, I really shouldn't come in and upset the apple cart after being gone so long. Feel free to speak your mind, but try to speak it quickly in the next couple of days! If nothing else I'd like to keep Fluffy, (Everybody always had fun w/ Fluffy) just help me come up with a plausible, realistic reason why there could be an intelligent, talking dog walking around. If that's still stretching it please say so!

I like the idea about the demons. There's room for some silliness here, after all. Let's not pretend that any of our ideas are anything less than ridiculous. And I must apologise for my infrequent posting... my computer is being a bitch. It keeps freezing, and my net connection is really slow. I'll try to post when I can, but I can't make any promises about regularity.

Well, this universe and dimension is realistic, but nothing prevent us (well, you, since I am prisoner of the EPS) to visit different dimension or aspects of the multiverse where things can be wacky or surreal. Just, reading your post, bear in mind that there is no castle anymore. When the heroes will escape from Mandelovia, they will settle in the little Caribbean isle of La Perdita, in a loft of new member... ehr, how Gooz new character is called? And I vote for a human brain somehow implanted inside Fluffy. If Eurostar little clone can have serpents implanted on his head, I see no problem for a dog with the brain of a man. The important thing is giving the dog an interesting personality.

My new character is named Sam(Shift), his bio/personality has been posted in TTT's thread. As for Fluffy, I would like to have him stay with the team (in the new Apartment building there will be a good amount of space for new/supporting characters). I like the idea that he is an alien (llance too). I don't think we should go with the nature boy's thing though. As for the heaven/hell thing, I would sorta like us to not name any "true" higher beings. Everyone has different beliefs and when we mix everything up we get a mess. Demons and stuff can be cool to use, but if we try to explain everything, it will turn into a mess quickly. Anyhow, what do the rest of ya think?

Gooz, I strongly support your words on the matter of religion/godlike beings. We have seen demons and angels in this Universe (Naecken is a composite being with a demon and an angel among the others), but I would like to consider those Hell and Heaven as different dimensions adjacent to our own, not the place where sinners are punished forever or dogooders have their eternal reward. Let's keep beliefs what they are: beliefs, without forcing any belief onto the others. About the alien thing, realistic aliens shouldn't look like earthly beings, since evolution should take different paths on different planets. But maybe they are shapeshifters...

I think Fluffy should be a talking dog, but nothing more. No explanation needed. He's just a dog who talks. Not an alien, not a demon/angel, not anything but a talking dog. Just my opinion, of course...

Maybe is the better way. After all, in a world where is possible to create a drink that makes people superlucky, why not a talking dog?

Llance, don't let me stop you from doing anything. In the grand scheme of this whole thing, my character is secondary (which is how I always wanted him to be). I'm willing to go with everyone else on this. I'm all for expression and whatnot. Do what you want... just don't get too confusing or we may have to do something about it...

Good for you, Mxy! It looks like Fluffy is still popular, but I need to tone him down somewhat. Lose the guns definitely. Maybe keep him and LLance as aliens. Not sure right now. I have to leave for work now, but may post and do some retconnig when I get off. Thanks for the input!

I did a quickie "Dallas" bit and made the Fluffy post as a dream sequence. Continue as normal with the story and I'll get Fluffy back in sometime soon!

I like the idea of Fluffy the talking dog bit for the way he would doubtlessly interact with Pete, who is an animal magnet and especially a dog-magnet due to his humble nature and smelliness. He smells interesting to every dog he meets...

After the current story is done, we really need to do one that shows the reaction of the team to the rapid fire events that we haven't even had time to reflect upon--the "death" of Eurostar, being in the future, etc... Am I the only one who thinks we're jumping from adventure to adventure too fast? Oh, yeah, and one of these days I'll start posting regularly again...I might have time next week...

I think it would be cool if D'goon lifted the execution order, just so that we'd "owe him one", as it were. It would have a Lex Luthor-ish villainy to it.

Do it, Kristogar! I will not be able to post regurarly for some time, just as I wrote some days ago, so don't wait for me to "play" the villain. I was hoping to do that, but really I have not time at all now. Just don't make Colonel Nemo a bloody character, he is a man full of doubts and questions, sand maybe in the future he will become a memebr of an internal "resistence" in Mandelovia (but I don't plan to have him to join the heroes at all). And I concour with Kristogar that the heroes needs time to react properly to the "death" Of Euro, to the destruction of Malvan, to the joining of Pete, of Gooz's boy and of Sonja, and to the trip in the future.

I really like Kristogar idea, so, since the heroes had just freed themseves, I think they should have some other encounters with Mandelovian forces, ending up to be captured again and then released by D'Goon. Welcome back, (Disco)Steve
