No problem, T5! It's what I do...

Anyhow, since the end of your last (and one-hundredth!) post said "THE END", I'm presuming that it's okay that I close the thread. If not lemme know, and I'll open it in a jiffy! (It may take a little longer, but I'll do my best to do it promptly... )

Gooz? Tobias?

You up for it?

Cool!

If you excuse me, I'll wait for the story to move a little to begin posting...

Y'know, I was just thinking how international we've become...

Eurostar - Italy
Danny - Australia
T5 - Sweden
Mxy - Chile
Nowhereman - UK
TTT - Canada
Gooz, Chewy, LLance, Kristogar, Tobias - USA

We should keep this in mind, I think, to make sure we set our stories more INTERNATIONALLY than just in the States (since our hero team is no longer mostly American). It's good to see our new story in Mandelovia, for instance.

Mxy is Chilean.

By the way, the idea behind the "international tour" of the circus is to have the heroes exploring different nations, fictious like Mandelovia, but also real ones. We could began with Europe, and then go to Australia, Japan, Canada and then back to America.

What do you think?

It's not too bad an idea, if you ask me. However, let's make sure the consensus is "pro" before we get started on something like that...

Yes. We could decide if after Mandelovia we'll stay in Europe for another story or more and then go to Australia (shameless plug to have Danny on my side ) or come back in America.

My idea is to have them stay away from the USA for some time, and when they return things are mature for a true revolution... But this is my long term idea, I would be glad to hear by each of you where would you bring the story to, let's say, one year from now.

I think that's a great idea. The more worldwide we seem, the better.

I don't make any long term plans. I found them impossible.

If you've read the new storyline you'll see that my character is greatly conflicted...over what codename to use! The Boiled Lance sounds very The Green Cigarette!/Alan Moore to me. How do you all feel about battling next to someone called The Boiled Lance?

Actually, when I read the name, I was hoping you'd choose it! It sounds absolutely hysterical to me, old chum! I say "go for it!"

I'm completely up for an international tour.

I stated once or twice that Danny was from Australia, but haven't really mentioned it since... this could be a good way to play with that.

I posted in the story the piece Chewy wrote about Mandelovia back at Athanon. It was so good that I hated to see it going away, so I brought it back. Without the mention of TOMB, I think it suits perfectly even the new continuity...

Curses! And here I thought we could finally do away with that whole "PPM" thing once and for all (which doesn't make a bit of sense) and make the leader of Mandelovia either a monarchy (which I'd prefer) or a *harrumph* republic... that or a military dictatorship... hm... strike that last one.

Yes, but... monarchies with their inbred royal families are ALWAYS more interesting to write than boring old republics...

I'll have you know I am NOT a Monarchist, and neither are most Canadians. The only ones in this country who still believe in the Monarchy are little old ladies who have pictures of the Queen in their living rooms.

If the U.K. (or the U.S.A. for that matter) ever tried to (re)-impose its authority on Canada there would be a revolution in this country.

As a political structure I believe monarchies to be a waste of money, and I do not agree with the idea of this one family getting paid exorbitant amounts of money from the coffers of the country's economy just because they were born into it. That said, monarchies are still more interesting from a writer's point of view than many other forms of government. I also suggested a dictatorship for Mandelovia, but that doesn't mean I support dictatorships...

Yes, I realize this, which is why I was surprised you were condoning a monarchy. However, having read your cited reasons, I believe I understand where you're coming from a bit more.

We need to create new nemesis to have them joining the team of villain...

TTT and Danny, there are private replies for both of you...
