I think it's time to give a name to the just formed team set in the New Universe: I am an old man, I like too much the past, so my suggestion is to keep the old name, MBL. MBL: MetaBreedLaw. Your turn...

I'm a traditionalist myself, and I think the word "League" needs to be somewhere in M.B.L. I'm not to keen on any Image-ey sounding hero names. MBL: The Metahuman Bravery League or The Mighty Benefactors League uhhh... maybe we should just come up with some new initials, too.

How about something different, since this might have a different sense to it that the old MBL (i.e., less public, less well-loved). Maybe a one word name in the vein of the Avengers, or even the Authority. Any good words come to mind?

There is something linking this team to the Avenger, I mean, the first time the Avenger united to fight Loki, which is a relative of Thor, while our team has to fight KLT which is the other self of Mxy. Being them all rejected by the society (at last at this stage) they could call themselves "The Coyotes", or "The Wolfpack". And what about "Divine justice"? Has it been used before in comics?

Seeing as how they're all societal rejects, why not use something like "Exile" or "Pariah" as a team name?

The scripts only? How about some descriptions of the characters, or pics? It seems intresting...

We could start as "The Revolutionaries" and than evolve to "The Evolutionaries".

I like 'em. I like 'em both! I agree that we need to have a name that's heroic, not just symbolic of the situation. Otherwise we're just a group that's hunted by the authorities. Our name should represent that we ARE heroes, nonetheless.

Hmmm... I'm not sure Eurostar, that might be a little too long for a team name. I like the description idea though. How about the "Heroes That Have a Gene That Gives Them Powers, But also Makes Them Hunted and Feared by the World Around Them League." We could be the HTHAGTGTP,BAMTHAFBTWATL!!!

So how does HERO REVOLUTION sound to you guys? To me it sounds like the name of a rock group, but it could work just as easily for our team. It's subversive, yet in a good way, y'know?

In light of the tone of the story, I think Hero Revolution would be a perfect title for the serie, but not for the team itself. I mean, I think they should call themselves with a more low key name. The Revolutionaries sounds better to me... but it's not perfect yet.

Granted, "Hero Revolution" does sound better for a title for the "new universe" (which should be renamed anyways). I PMed Rob with a request to change the title of this forum to "Hero Revolution"... Why? It's unique, and looks like it hasn't been used for anything before, unlike the generic terms "New Universe" and "Hero Headquarters". My idea would be to change the name of the "New Universe" to the "Hero Revolution Universe" to give some unique-ness to it. Otherwise, two or three years in the future when we decide to make ANOTHER "New Universe", the name "New Universe" won't really make much sense any longer. As well, any newcomers won't know what the heck the "old" universe was anyways. That said, why not name the new team the Message Board League? It still makes sense, and we already know that any new stories will be set in the New Universe already. And I just love the name "Message Board League" or just plain MBL. AR! there's power in them thar initials, me boyos. And it's still better than any of the suggestions for new names I've seen so far. I know I for one don't want to be in a team which is named after animals or is a self-defeating name like "The Hunted" or something. We're HEROES, fer goodness' sakes!

I agree on this. I doubt that we'll ever return to the old universe, after the ending of the current war story, and, in any case, just like many of the characters of the old universe have returned, changed, in this new one, I think we must keep the MBL initials. I am more skeptical about the whole "Message Board League" name, it is not in tone with the present "realitiness" of the story...

Yeah... POST DAMMIT! I don't wanna post because 3 of the 5 posts in the second page are mine! If I start taking control of the story, your characters might end up eating little men made of poo! T5 may think I'm kidding but you guys know it's true...!

I was gonna post a few days ago, but my computer ate my perfectly good post... twice. Now, I can't seem to get back into my writing mode. Gimme a few days to get my groove back, and I'll write a post that'll wow your socks off... or at least make you say "Oh, that Chewy!"

I'm in the same position of Mxy. I had too much, for now, having actually made most of the heroes meet. T5 was the last to post, but I would prefer to have Tobias following his post, and also see what the other characters, namely Turner, "Chewy" and Avatar would do... And, TTT, when will you appear in the story?

Time crushes Bibbo! I have some ideas for Bibbo and the Malvan-X security folk, but I probably won't have time to write it when I am coherent (i.e., not 7:15am when I haven't gone to sleep yet) until Sunday or so. In the meantime, check out the pic I did.
