I think it's misleading because the amount is so skewed towards the Republicans. Technically your right but the 95-5 percent gives some perspective to the "Haliburton donated to both parties" statement. Here's one place I got the figure with more details

Maybe there is a good explanation for dumping the penalties dealing with corrupt contracts. Nobody from the GOP is giving one though as far as I'm aware. So that leaves us with something that doesn't look right & should be investigated. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting though
