(A) I tend to go for The Verve - "Bitter Sweet Symphony". That hook is awful catchy. Not sure if that qualifies as a love song. Also like Guns& Roses "November Rain", and Vanessa Williams "Save the Best for Last". I like my slower stuff dramatic...Creed-like. Feel free to ask again...i might have missed this Q altogether.

A) Yes, somewhat, then again, I like a little bit of all music.

A: i'd never give away candy

A: Depends on what kinda pressure your a talkin bouts.

A. Yes, I don't see how I'd have much choice. The only choice I'd have in the matter is whether or not I expressed it or acted on it.

Q. Why is that the more smilies you've got to pick from, the less you can decide when to use them?

A. That people accept too much dogma, and that I need to make sure I don't end up like that.

Q. When a girl says she's thinking about starting a steady relationship with some other guy, but wants to talk to you face-to-face before she makes any commitments, what does that mean in English?

(A) That she (a)sees you as a friend she can confide in and wants your honest opinion (b) has feelings for you but needs that backup for just in case you don't feel the same for her, can't make a move, or she get some perspective and changes her mind.

A) rob and Nowhereman finaaly confessed their love for each other.

(A) Nah, it's all done in good humor. That Pesky Crow once wrote me that you can only be offended if you allow people to offend you. Good point there. What offends me? Intent to hurt. But I haven't seen any of that here. Everyone on this board, even when in serious discussion and disagreement, is pretty kewl.

(Q) Do you get funny looks when buying girl comics (Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Catwoman, Supergirl)?

A)Nope. Allais is the only girl comic I buy.

Q)Do you you think people look funny when people hurt themselves in a stupid way?

(A) ABSOLUTELY, if you mean, like people doing stupid stunts in the backyard to get attention?

(Q) Do you see the world getting better in the future, or worse?

a)worse, i see us going down just like the romans, as bloodthirsty sports craved elitists. i'm an optimist.

q)have you ever wanted a sex change?(be honest now)

A. Better. Think about it. These days, the dictators have to at least pretend they believe in democracy, and have to come up with all kinds of excuses and pretexts when they kill a few thousand people to make some money and expand their own power-base. A thousand years ago, they would've just stuck a bunch of heads on spikes and been done with it. The fact that the bad guys have to answer to the people is a big step up, and will hopefully improve even more, to the point that we'll figure out a way to keep from being lied to -- even if it feels like we're taking two steps backward right now, at least to me.

Q. If you could nail down the one definining characteristic that explains "beauty," what would it be?

Damn. I answered too late. Now I'm going to hell.

(Since I'm the one that screwed up the chain, I figure I'm the one who ought to fix it by ignoring my own post.)

A. Yeah, I hang out with too many lesbians to not have wondered what it would be like to be allowed in the club. And of course, there's the old joke about not leaving the house. Ultimately, though, I think I like being a guy. I enjoy being big enough and strong enough to throw things around when the need arises. And frankly, being subject to so many hormones and biochemical nuances -- well, women don't make it look like much fun.
