Relations between WWE and Goldberg continue to go down the drain more or less. Goldberg threw a tantrum backstage after Armageddon, throwing tables and such, because he felt that he was being made to look bad in the ring. WWE management seems to be taking the strike approach, with the Armageddon fit being "strike two." If he explodes again, which he seemingly does on a regular basis, he may be told to go home before his contract even ends.
Goldberg feels that he should be booked how he was in WCW, as a total dominant force who doesn't sell. WWE has been booking him as a pure babyface who has to overcome obstacles and rise to victory. That, of course, includes a lot of selling to heels.
Goldberg is also very frustrated with the fact that the house shows he has headlined have not drawn, therefore he has not gotten anything above his $1.5 million downside guarantee. He expressed his frustration to Vince McMahon in a meeting backstage at RAW last week.
The general feeling is that Goldberg does not know anything about the business and continues to try and juice the same act he has been using for years without evolving or improving. Goldberg even apparently told Vince McMahon last Monday that he does not know what is good for him. Vince McMahon has grown frustrated with Goldberg because he does not have good mic skills and has shown himself to be very limited as a performer.
At this point, everyone is coming to the conclusion that Goldberg will not work as a regular wrestler. Goldberg's contract ends shortly after WrestleMania XX and it may be hard to convince him to job on his way out, which may mean that he won't even be booked for WMXX. Vince McMahon was strongly considering a Goldberg/Brock Lesnar Champion vs. Champion match at the show, but at this point that is in question.
WWE may want to stay open with Goldberg and reach a compromise with him, so that the door remains open for him to come and make special cameo appearances in the future.

They never should've signed him in the first place! With all the money they wasted on Goldturd they could have signed AJ Styles, AMW, and "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels (to save our souls of course) RAW would be a helluva lot better off! (Not to mention more entertaining)

This is what I don't get. Not to sound like I'm defending Goldberg, but why the hell would the WWE sign him and not book him as the same character that made him a big name in the business? That's like signing Hogan and telling him not to Hulk up or cup his ear, and still expect him to draw money and babyface pops, or signing Flair and telling him not to be the dirtiest player in the game. It just doesn't work like that. I think this whole situation should have as much blame placed on the WWE creative team not thinking ahead as on Goldberg's ego.
I mean, if you want a pure babyface, why try to force it on a guy who the fans already view as something else? When they signed him, they should've just pushed him as Goldberg, and let the fans determine if that was as a face or a heel(which, since these are WWE fans, would almost certainly be a heel). Now, I don't have to run a multi-billion dollar conglomerate, but it seems to me that Vince should've seen that this had disaster written all over it from the beginning...
And that's terrible.

Because a dominant force that doesn't sell won't work in the WWE. The fans expect more out of the wrestlers, and honestly Goldbergs gimmick got stale pretty quickly.

Correct!
They tried it with Taker back in the day,but it never stuck!
They tried it with Angle in his first year to get him over as a heel & it worked,but then it made no sense to keep it going!
They did the same with Lesnar when he first appeared as well!
To have Goldturd come in & do the same thing in WWE as he did in WCW would make no sense at all specially when you consider the guys he is surrounded by.
You only had a few big guys in WCW like Nash,Sid & The Giant,so Goldturd stood out head & shoulders above the bulk of WCW.
In WWE you have guys like Taker,Kane,Lesnar,Matt Morgan,Big Show,A-Train,Nash etc etc etc & suddenly Goldturd doesnt look so big anymore!
He makes himself look weak anyway by the way he does his jackhammer on the bigger guys.
When he picks up the smaller guys,he holds them up for a few seconds,but with the big guys he shows they are too heavy by dropping them immediately.
Then you see a guy like Cena performing an FU on the Big Show,where he held him up for longer than even Lesnar did for his F5,before slamming him to the mat,suddenly Goldturd doesnt look so special does he!
People prefer to see an underdog overcome adversity rather than a total squash match where they just know one guy looks invulnerable like Superman!
Also as much as I hate Hogan,comparing Goldturds gimmick to Hogans is just plain wrong,Hogan is an icon with god knows how many years in the business & not utilizing his gimmick would be just plain stupid.
Goldturd on the other hand is just another wrestler.......actually no,he is not just another wrestler,he's a bad clone of Steve Austin!

The weird thing is, they didn't even try to give Goldberg the push of a Taker, Kane, Lesnar or Austin(who I think is the only dominant no-selling force that works in the company...even Rocky pretends to sell once in awhile). That's the point I was trying to make--why sign Goldberg at all? If they wanted a pure babyface, shouldn't they have gotten somebody who could actually play that role?
And that's terrible.

Two things you have to realise:
1:Vince is a business man and thought Goldturd would automatically draw so he didnt need to push him in the same way as Lesnar who was a new star.
2:Vince doesnt particulary like the WCW stars so he wont go out of his way to over promote them or even give them titles but he knows that some will definetley put bums on seats!

I don't get why Goldberg is so pissed off at the way they've "utilised" his talents; for gob's sakes - he defeated big-name guys like the rock, jericho, HBK and triple H on his first run with the company. That's got to be worth something.
As for the dominant force thingy - he took on evolution all by himself. and nobody ever beat him in a fair match(cheats are always being used) That's already pretty "dominant" to me.
