I have to better explain my words.

About the Order "detracting" Vanguard, I wasn't intending they are a bad concept. They are very cool and I love them. What I intend is that if a cosmic menace arise, Grimm could always look in the mirror and call them. Without them, Vanguard should roll up their sleeves and find a way to get out by themselves. It's exactly the motivation for which you are asking to change thename of the series from HR to Vanguard, IMO.
There is no need to remove them, because I hope cosmic battles will be not so common, and if we want to do one, we could write the Order out, or use them, as the mood dictates. But MY FEELING is that they lessen the broad purpose of Vanguard. You compare them to Continuity, but in fact Continuity, after it was created, basically went missing very soon.
In any case, as issue 14 has shown, it's just how we write the characters that, in the ends, matter. The game has been won by Vanguard, and the Order gave just an hand to help.

About Turkish, you always compare him to the character from Hidden Tiger..., but as I remeber him, he was able to defy Nature, by walking over thin branches, running over vertical walls and such, and I would feel comfortable with such. It's when he "asks" nature to not allow something for others, or similar things, that I begin to find him "too powerful". Mxy is very powerful, but he is a very nice and ingenue guy, that usually creates cows.
That's the strenght of the character. he is nearby omnipotent, but often is pretty useless.
