Phil is Dirk Bell now?
Seriously, you're a fantastic character writer, but I generally didn't see Phil clashing too much with a lot of the other characters. You can of course reconcile that with the supposition that Phil was just giving Ozzy a hard time, which sounds very plausible. (Dirk Bell:Phil Smith: :Phil Smith:Ozzy Baxter) The way I
usually see it, this team is all Phil has. To me, he's not likely to pick too many fights with his teammates. But I think you've introduced an interesting angle to all this characterization.
About the confession: Phil's doing this for his
conscience. La Perdita has no extradition laws, and quite frankly I don't think too many people will care about what happened in New York as long as he's doing his job. I was just hoping to see how the other characters might feel about him now - whether in response to his past or in response to his keeping it hidden.
