Cap: Your use of Templar was fine. BTW, when I write Mason Templar, I kind of think of his personality as a cross between Professor Arturo (Sliders) and Gimli (LotR) -- both played by John Rhys-Davies, and with a healthy dose of Brian Blessed in almost ANY role he's been in (especially the original
Black Adder series).
Doc: I have been writing Mason Templar's personality fairly consistently from the beginning, but the scene with him at Jake's was intended to show that he's not a two-dimensional character who never reflects on life and death. Living as long a life as he has, he's seen most of his friends die over the years. That's got to have some impact on him at Christmas.
