TTT, I see where you "reserved" the post to finish the fight. I'm not sure I dig that, as I came in ready to finish it. By you "calling" it, it doesn't allow anyone else to come along and write. However, it said "in minutes", so, maybe by the time I get through writing this, you'll have already done it.

But, just in case you haven't, I'm about to write something that may or may not contradict your post. We'll just have to work it out in the end...

Pro, that was Euro. Are you "drunk" again?

Make a note, kids. Editing a post can throw your sig line back in if you aren't careful.

I'm pretty much done with the story. Been really good stuff coming out from you guys here. Can't wait to see the next story.

You are exactly right. My mistake. I read TTT's post, and when it broke to the next, I didn't see the change. And, as he has been known to make the "Reserve to write later" post in the stories, I must have assumed that he was doing so. My sincerest apologies TTT.

Okay, so, Euro I've taken what I want, now. You may do with Jackie as you please. However, if you do not, I will come along and tie her up, too.

I made the "reserve" post to be sure there have been a place for what you asked me in the case Gooz would have written his last post (today is thursday even there, right? ). I come back and found that you had ended the fight much more better than how I had, so scraped that part and left the departure of Jackie. I think it fit well.

Who is for a little "mission impossible" story for the Strikeforce? I need at least three volunteers (not Amuck, sorry).

You mean we weren't?

Euro, there's no need to apologize for not wanting to use Amuck in the "mission impossible" thing. He's not right for those type of things.

Mr. Gooz would like to inform the party that he reserves the privalege of the last Christmas post. He would also like to inform his fellow writers that proposed fiftenth story will begin on Thursday morning. Any objections will result in a swift kick in the shin.

But is he dead or not?

This is strange... yesterday, after I posted my last post in the story (that went as the first post in page four) I went on page three and deleted my "reserve post". My last post shifted back as the last post on page three.

Now on the forum page, I still see that the story thread has just three pages, while if I go to page three, I find that the "reserve post" has been deleted by TTT and not by me, and my last post has gone back on page four.

I can explain why my name was there, at least (though I find it baffling): I saw your post that said "post deleted by Eurostar" and thought that maybe you had simply cut the text out and left the post there with that message yourself. Thus I used my Mighty Moderator Powers® (don't try this at home, kids) to delete the post myself... or at least that was what I tried to do. Somehow it didn't work out any better than your attempt at deletion. Maybe it's a "board bug" which had something to do with your having posted on the 4th page before going back and deleting a post on the 3rd page. That's about the best I can come up with.

BTW, if anyone else has Norton Firewall installed, can you PLEASE tell me how to make it so it will allow me to post here? Every time I make a post here I have to make sure that Firewall is disabled. Demmed irritatin'!

So can we end this story now and start the next one? I'm itching for some action.

Ok, the Christmas story is done and Gooz is now working on the introductory post for fifteen, so I'm closing this thread up and he can start the new talk thread.
