good movie!!!

saw it on friday. had more of a desire to be amazed by the computer graphics, but, i was certainly surprised by an intriguing story! still, tho, the absolute star of the movie was the INCREDIBLE cgi animations... water that looks like water, fire that looks like fire, people whose facial expressions and lip syncing matches that of any well done disney cartoon, but out does that medium with detail beyond comparison.

SEE IT!

Bloody? No, not today Michael...but I did nick myself in the shower yesterday while shaving...

Overall...I'll give it "two thumbs up."

Loved Princess Fiona (grabbing flowers, puckering lips, matrix/charlie's angels bit, etc.).

Loved Shrek (ear wax, 'scaring villagers', etc.).

Donkey...hell, I loved everything 'bout the donkey!

But the opening sceen...where Shrek is "reading" the book...great stuff! Loved it!

overall, 'twas a cute little fantasy, fairy tale type story, that was modern and "adult" enough for any one to appreciate and get into it.

add to that the AMAZING cgi graphics, to impress any computer loser like myself, and, 'twas justa good flick.

Depends on what it is. I read what I like and some necessary stuff too. Mostly, what I like.

And have you seen the toys for Shrek?

nope... i've only seen the movie, and the baskin robins tie-in commercials. nothin else, no toys, nothin on the sequel (other then the afore mentioned rumor-proven-true).

...i took the youngins to see SHREK memorial day,and they found it very enjoyable as did i,the cgwhatever was very good indeed, the castle surrounded by lava and the dragons fire were super neat-o,Eddie was definitely the star of the flick, very funny indeed...tho im not shure if i like the message the movie sends to kids....beauty on the outside doesnt matter it's whats on the inside? i hope the youngins arent scarred for life...

Pinnochio: "But I'm a real boy!"
I was laughing with that bit for days...
